update: DNS name resolving error ...

Recommended Posts

Running KIS 6.0.2.621 under Windows XP with SP2 on a laptop with

a dial-up connection.

KIS was updating okay. However, it has started giving a "DNS name

resolving error" on machine startup, and it will not update unless a

manual update is forced.

The update "Run Mode" is set to "Automatically". Have tried changing

the "Run Mode" to "Every 1 hour(s)" but it did not have any effects.

Is there a setting that can be used to rectify this problem?
