It includes Kaspersky Rescue Tool, the tool which implements scanning and disinfection of operating systems. Write Kaspersky Rescue Disk to a USB drive or CD/DVD disc and boot the computer under it. I created a USB boot device by following Kaspersky's instructions, and using Rufus as per the link below: https://support.kaspersky.com/help/krd/2024/en-US/294012.htm No errors were reported in its making. Using F12, when booting the Windows 11 Desktop, the USB boots up but does not go beyond its first banner page (see attached). I also attach a copy of the folders/files on my USB stick. Please advise me on what to do next.

I have tried to use the disk many times but I always get a black screen whenever I select any of the mentioned options. I read that my system may not be compatible but I think that's unlikely because the requirements are very simple. Attached are screenshots of System information.

I installed Kaspersky Antivirus and my mouse and keyboard stopped working after restarting. I am trying to fix the problem using Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18 but it only shows a black screen after choosing “Graphic Mode” or “Limited Graphic Mode”. I have an Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 graphics card. I tried to use this topic as a solution, however the link sent for KRD 2024 beta did not work. I can’t use my keyboard or mouse, I cannot run KRD since it gives me a black screen, and I can’t find recovery mode either. My PC is basically useless. Please help

Dear Kaspersky, Recently I tried to download the latest version of Kaspersky Rescue Disk version 24 (Latest Build). When I tried to run on my Intel i9 9900k rig, it won't load as it will stuck at the cursor blinking non-stop. If I press the power button it will initiate a power down and I tried on a older rig Intel i7 3770k. The older rig can run without any flaw so I not sure what is wrong or the version 24 has compatibility issues with newer hardware. For the meantime I will use the much older V18 which is much less bug free and can load easiliy on any PC hardware.

I restarted my computer over and over again and did the same steps as on the web page. in normal graphics mode I had a black screen problem so I started the other option, low graphics. but after 10 minutes of starting the scan the system completely locks up and does not respond at all, despite repeated attempts. Hi, I recently download the latest Kaspersky Rescue Disk to scan a potentially infected Linux system, the system is encrypted with LUKS and uses LVM2. When I attempt to unlock the drive using the KRD environment, I get an error saying "device parameters invalid". I have no problem unlocking the drive using a standard Linux distro. I'm guessing that KRD does not have the proper support for LUKS or LVM2? Dose anyone have a solution to unlocking LVM2 volumes encrypted with LUKS on a KRD environment? Thanks

Hello everyone, I have a small problem... ? How can I read hard disks on INTEL RST controllers that are not in RAID mode? In the laptop BIOS, I have no choice. Intel's RST mode is enabled by default. No AHCI, no Raid mode possible, I can't activate AHCI. When I'm on KRD, I can't see the laptop's internal disk. And I can't use a custom KRD with built-in RST drivers. I have to download the new version of KRD, and integrate the RST drivers myself. Is there a tutorial for this? Regards.

My system has a RAID1 volume consisting of two 6TB drives under Intel RST. I attach a screenshot of the BIOS showing the RAID volume, and of the RAID Disk in Disk Management in Windows 10. Under Linux, I see two separate drives (sda and sdb) and each partition is repeated twice in File Manager. I am afraid if I scan one of the disks and KRD modifies it, this will break my RAID1. Is it possible to mount this RAID volume in Linux (mdadm?) without damaging it?

Hi, Unfortunately there is no information about versions of KRD so I just can write I downloaded KRD 13 Sep 2014 and it does not boot. It repeatedly writes to the screen: "COMRESET failed .... retrying in 8 secs", etc. Fortunately I saved the older version I downloaded 9 March 2024 and it does boot but always says there is a newer version so it does not download the new database. What can I do, please?

About a decade ago Kaspersky revealed numerous pieces of malware that are unofficially attributed to the NSA. "Fanny" was one of those. It exfiltrated information from air-gapped (not connected to the Internet) computers. Three questions: 1. If my computer were infected with Fanny or its brethren and I were to connect to the Internet with Kaspersky Rescue Disk, would Fanny be able to exfiltrate information or "phone home"? 2. Can Kaspersky Rescue Disk detect hard disk controller firmware viruses? 3. Can Kaspersky Rescue Disk detect BIOS viruses?

Hello there, trying to run Kaspersky Rescue disk after the computer has been compromised. Following the instructions first it appear message saying the "The product folder is in the RAM and all the information will be lost after the reboot of the device". Then I am ending up in both Graphic mode and Limited graphic mode to the same error. "Can't initialize services" With second user windows showing progress of the initialization 50% with green bar filled half through.
