as the title says i use bitdefender as my only real time protecter but on the side i have 6 more scanners Malwarebytes Microsoft Safety Scanner Eset Online Scanner and Hitmanpro none of them found anything but i got scared that kvrt found a trojan in my memory i searched the whole pc to find where it found or scanned the malware from but i cant find it im using the 2020 version of it im on windows 11 idk why but i cant put the KVRT2020_Data file here

With a USB booting Windows 10 PE build, based on Professional 64 bit version 1809, the 2020 version of KVRT.exe runs. However with a Windows 11 PE build, based on Professional version 22H2, after ticking the three agreement boxes I get the error message ' can't load driver '. If the message was specific that e.g. xxx.dll was missing I could add to the Windows 11 PE build. Any hints to either the missing prerequisite(s) or another issue will be helpful.

Hi team, I guess I'm facing the same (or a similar) issue as this guy. Whatever I feed into KVRT as custom folders, they're completely ignored. I've tried to run the commands suggested in the other post but they're not available in my webspace. Hi team, as I can only run KVR in non-GUI mode, is there a way to check if the patterns used are up-to-date? I've downloaded and installed the tool yesterday and it's showing "compver: 24.0.5.0 x86-64 (Jul 9 2024 17:36:48)". Thanks.

No matter what type of scans I choose, except for like 992 files somewhere in the /etc/ or /var or something i don't care for right now, no other files are scanned. What's yet more puzzling is that my laptop and desktop pretty much have the same setup and yet.... On one computer it scans only the flash drive, and on the second, when the flash drive is selected, it scans drive C, but it is not clear whether it scans the flash drive. Hello, I would like to know if when performing a scan with Kaspersky Standart Antivirus (Windows) vs kvrt (for Linux), there can be any difference in the identification of some type of malware or trojan. I have run a scan on a backup of files from my website and cPanel email, with Kaspersky Standart Antivirus (Windows) I got warnings for a couple of Trojans, however, when running the same scanner with kvrt (for Linux) it did not show any warnings.

Hello everyone, I launched kaspersky removal tool on a windows machine with crowdstrike installed which at a certain point after 10 minutes from the start of the Kaspersky scan killed the kaspersky removal tool and triggered a critical detection with this wording: "A process appears to be accessing credentials and might be dumping passwords. I downloaded at 30.7.2023 the "Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool application" (https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/free-virus-removal-tool). For the first time it asked for reboot for drivers (before the scan). But the system, Windows 11 pro 22H2 (OS build 2261.2070) version 10.0.2261 Build 22621, failed to start. There was nothing I could do but to restore to my latest retore point, to fix it. Since then I'm afraid to use KVRT again. Did anyone had this same problem? Please check the KVRT.exe. When I run TDSSKiller, Win Defender tells "For security reasons, the administrator does not allow you to access the content from C:\Windows\System32\drivers\[numbers].sys." Defender's options are OK or UNLOCK. (Please note that if I do NOT choose anything, TDSSKiller still opens and runs a scan.) What should I do? Thanks in advance.

I uninstalled Kaspersky from my system, but then I learned that I should use the Kaspersky removal tool to fully remove it. So I did that and the tool displays dozens of products to be removed. Some of the products don't even leave the list when I remove them. What on Earth am I to do? The image doesn't even show all of the products that are listed.
