  1. good luck - i have rebooted my server with patch 19 twice now and all was well.
  2. I have applied core 19 to one of our servers and all seems well for the past 48 hours.
  3. Tom Out of interest do you have any Hyper-V v-Switches configured on the servers that error? Regards Sean
  4. Hi, I can also reproduce by rebooting the server - immediatly I get the KSN errors in KSC, but if I restart the Kaspersky Security Service on the server the errors stop. I have a theory that it is connected to the time the OS takes to estabish the network team and KWS not finding a network when it starts. My network inferfaces are based on Broadcom BCM5719 I am still waiting for a fix from Kaspersky development. Sean

I have messaged it to you. Thanks
  6. Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway Setup Confusion

Hello, Thanks for your reply. Our problem is not that it doesn't work or gives errors, more that we cannot see how it can be configured to operate like described. For example, when adding hotmail.co.uk as a domain, we cannot see how to tell it to use direct MX delivery rather than our smart host (the option to use MX requests an SMTP server address too!) Also, for hotmail, we can reuse the DKIM key, but it changes the DNS string to include "hotmail.co.uk" within the TXT record. Thanks,
  7. We have been looking at implementing this product for applying DKIM signatures to our outbound emails (as well as the anti malware / spam protection it offers). After we followed the admin guides, we are at a loss as to if the below is possible: We want our internal exchange server (for @ourcompanysdomain.co.uk) to receive emails from the outside world via KSMG We want our external emails that users are sending, to go through KSMG and onto our 3rd party mail delivery service who in turn will verify emails/deliver to the final destination. However, we want specific domains (for example – outbound emails to *@Hotmail.com) to go through KSMG and then delivered directly to them (Hotmail’s MX server) without going through our third party and with the same DKIM signature as all the other emails. Attached are 2 diagrams to show visually what we are trying to do. If this is possible, can someone perhaps talk us through what is needed where, as we are struggling to get it set up in this manner.
  8. Hi Tom, We are a HP house and have this installed on 10 G9 servers all the same model, different specs (processor/memory) some are working fine smne are reporting KSN failures. Its possible that the network firmware/drivers are slightly different across the servers I will check this leter today, but we have the same hardware. We also utilise Server 2016 and team our interfaces. The finding I mentioned (re restarting the KSN proxy) was short lived, as the problems returned and restarting it did not make any difference second time around! What manufacturer/model are you network devices in the 730xd? Sean
  9. I think the original poster is in fact requesting the reverse logic to be available, i.e. another option that says 'allow the following attachment types' - i think this would be a usefull option.
  10. with loggin enabled, try restarting the server - thats how I got my server to error once again.
  11. Logs, Screenshots, Traces, GSI and Wireshark data have been uploaded to UK Support FTP under call INC000008037661 Interestingly the errors disappear if the KSN Proxy Service is restarted, reapear if the endpiint is rebooted and disapear if the KSN Proxy Service is then restarted again on the KSC. we are running the beta patch a.
  12. I am experiencing the same problems / some servers are fine, some report the errors in KSC. Having reboot another one recently (which was not reporting the problem) this is now reporting KSN failures!
  13. Vulnerability Assessment & Patch Management

I too have this problem, we changed the location fo the WSUS store and we can see the new location growing, but it seems that KSC uses c:\programdata\kasperskylab\adminkit folder in the WSUS download process, perhaps as a staging area. If you look at the disk useage with process monitor, you can see the same update being written to adminkit folder and WSUS location. The ability to define the temp/working/adminkit folder(s) at install (or post install) is essential in order to control disk growth on the OS drive.
