  1. during installation thse logs were added: CREATE DATABASE or ALTER DATABASE failed because the resulting cumulative database size would exceed your licensed limit of 10240 MB per database. Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.locstring'.'PK__locstrin__DF98CDDD8E0C8F6E' in database 'KAV' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup. Application: Kaspersky Security Center 10 Administration Server - Error 25002. LastStatement='loc_load_string_to_db'". Sounds like a 3rd installation is required... KSC should be able to prevent this is db is to close to 10Gb in size !
  2. Hello everyone, we have seen this error on various KSC 10 (10.4.343) that we upgraded to 10.5 and have resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch each time. But since it's the 3rd time we see this, we wonder if anyone of you has encounter this error. This one is slighlty different because it happends at the installation, the 2 others were a couple days after the upgrade finished. We can see the SQL KAV db is 10 Gb, therefore at the SQL Express limitation. Any idea how to solve this when the console is no longer accessible ? the server service starts and stops, logging the same error in the event viewer.

Running SQL express KAV DB 10.5.1781 KSC10 database maintenance task gives erros: Generic db error: "1105 '{42000} Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.wus_upd_file'.'IX_wus_upd_file__dwnld_complex' in database 'KAV' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.; Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.wus_upd_file'.'IX_wus_upd_file__dwnld_complex' in database 'KAV' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.' LastStatement='wus_remove_batch_obsolete_files'" We have reached the 10Gb limit of SQL Express. Can you help shrink this DB ? Kaspersky DB database does work but give a 10Gb backup file. Management studio does not shrink the db.
  5. Same problem here for one of our client, many Outlook user affected. Versions ranges from 2013 or 2016. We see 2 "Kaspersky Outlook Anti-Virus Addin" available in Outlook : 1 is un-ticked and the mcou.dll resides in the KES10 program folder. (folder no longer exists once KWS11 is installed on the previous KES10) - this COM Add-in can't be removed from outlook. Even with a domain admin account. Then the second Add In entry is ticked and points to the KES for windows x86 program file folder (that exists) We requested the pf5039 patch to fix this slow behavior.

  7. Same here for 200K files in windows/ temp user was able to install Acrobat DC and got macafee security plus Avira AV installed ...

  10. Hi, we are experiencing the same issue, no service is displayed in the service console on Windows 7 & Win10 french OS (services.msc). Installation was made thru (1) KSC10 deployment task, also (2) using a standalone package and (3) manual install ALL using the French agent version. Using the English network agent (from the English KSC10 package) we now see a service ! Seems like both agents (FR & ENG) are the same size 39Mo. Thanks,
  11. Hi Scott, yes we have also did experiment the MS Azure Cloud. Works like a charm as well, specially if your are in an AD or full MS infrastructure. We found AWS had more open source OS distribution flavours, but the gap is getting smaller every day with MS Azure... Cheers, Martin

Hello Evgeny, the main reason is to enable multiple client locations management from one Security Console, rather then having to manage, setup and upgrade each site with it's own KSC on premise. With more then 20 sites it becomes a daily job to maintain and update deployment tasks and verifications within each site ! Also some of our clients are now fully hosted in the AWS Cloud, therefore we sit the KSC next to their servers. Soon AWS Canada will be opened, thus migration of a few Canadian client. Hopefully in 2017. Cheers, Martin
