Licence question, regarding old machines

Hi, Just wondering how license works, for instance, i have 4 new pc's that will see the 4 old pc's removed from the network and unused, how do i free those licenses up? is it just a case of removing them from the console? is that enough? do you have to uninstall, or, any other steps to send the license back?

Hi Steve,

 

from memory, as long as the computers are removed from the Security Centre (uninstall KAV/KES) and the Windows domain, the licenses should be freed up to re-use

I needed to do this before and talked to Kaspersky and that is what I was told

Hi,

You have to remove old computer from the server. But be carefull, they have to be removed from the managed computer AND the unassigned computer node to liberate the license.
