An item was discovered during the Rootkit scan but I get a message that it has not been disinfected nor deleted.  What next please?

Hello, I hope this thread is still open.  I have a similar problem. Kaspersky detected two objects in the rootkit and disinfected one but not the other one. I can't find this in the downloads folder in order to remove it or even know if it is safe to remove it. Kaspersky IS 2018 hasn't detected any threats and neither has Malwarebytes free version. Can you advise please?  Report screen grab included here.

Hello,

As I understand you face an issue with your rootkit

I have a similar problem when I use my system with Kaspersky. It detects more than 5 objects in the rootkit and also disinfected  Then I saw the log files and search which files give that problem then I delete all the five files and then the Kaspersky saw no issue with the device.

My Kaspersky works fine.

Hope this will work for you.

Thanks
