  1. Well currently I am trying to run some updates for Silverlight. Have got it set to update in the window update sync task. Set to install in the Install windows update task. and I can see that it needs to be installed when I look at the available updates on the target computer. But when I run the Install windows update task it says no action required.
  2. Hi All, we have an Exchange ActiveSync implementation with WP8 mobile phones. From what i can see Kaspersky will not currently support such a setup. Is this correct? The website says it only supports up to Windows Mobile 6.5. 6.5 was replaced by WP7 in 2009!!! Does anyone know if i is going to be supported? Any input would be appreciated.
  3. Hi, please correct me if I am wrong but the following points would be good: 1. Currently when using Kaspersky as WSUS server it fills up my c drive and am unable to relocate the store as the files are stored in C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working. Can this be changed? 2. When deploying to clients the patches don't always seem to deploy or restart machines as per the task. Possibly task is corrupt but how often do I need to recreate it? If these 2 point were addressed it would certainly make it more usable for us. Cheers
  4. Hi Pranav, you know I have the very same question as my drive got full with all the patches and I had to kill the updates. From what I know the files are stored in C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working folder. I had 60GB of data there. Speaking to tech support they say that the location cannot be changed. Also I believe changing the location of the programdata folder location makes you windows install unsupported. :-) I am hoping that someone will prove me wrong as currently this makes using Kaspersky as a WSUS server unusable for me. Hope this helps.
  5. Hi Everyone, I have configured KES10 to act as a WSUS server. I am currently testing on some clients with mixed results. The updates are being pushed out but they are not installing as per the install task. The install task is set to ask the user for action if a restart is required. What I get is the windows updates window telling me there are updates ready to be installed. Do I need to configure group policy to work with Kaspersky? i.e set restart time and the like via GP? Any assistance would be appreciated.

  7. Hi Nicolay, once i run the image capture task the machine restarts and then loads winpe. I have attached an image of the screen i get when it fails as well as the winpe.log any help would be appreciated. Cheers _klpxeut.winpe.log
  8. Hi All, I am running Kaspersky Security Center 10. I am trying to capture and deploy an image but the problem is I cant even capture the image so obviously no deployment. I am no expert so please excuse any seemingly stupid questions. When I go to capture the image the computer restarts and then loads wpeinit and klpxeut.exe. It fails as I get no IP or any network information so I am assuming that I need to have a PXE server for this to work. Correct? If so am I able to use Windows Deployment Services or is there a better way to achieve this? Thanks in advance.
  9. Hi I have a similar issue as well. I am trying to make an image so I can deploy it to other machines but it always dies in the same spot. I am guessing that it is unable to get an ip address for communication. I am assuming that whole process requires a PXE server functioning for it to work. Correct?
