  2. Hello, By default, the local interface provides access to only one local task—Custom Scan—both via the Kaspersky Endpoint Security window and via the shortcut menu of any file or folder. Also, the user can see three group tasks by default: Virus Scan—Workstations, Update—Workstations, and Vulnerability Scan. These are created on the Administration Server by the Quick Start wizard, and by default are displayed in the local interface. The user can do nothing with them—neither edit their settings, nor run. The user can only view their reports. These limitations are true only if the client computer is under a Kaspersky Security Center policy. If a Kaspersky Endpoint Security policy is not present or enforced, the local user is able to configure and manage update and scan tasks. But as soon as a policy is enforced, the local tasks Full scan, Critical Areas Scan, Update and Vulnerability Scan are disabled and hidden, and replaced with similar group tasks (which can only be managed from the Administration Server by default). Enable the user to manage the group tasks—this option is controlled by the protection policy, the Allow group tasks to be managed checkbox in the Advanced settings / Application settings section Unhide local tasks—in the same section of the protection policy, there is the checkbox Allow local tasks to be started and displayed (except custom scan). The text in the brackets means that setting in not applicable to the custom scan task, which is always available

  7. Hello, Can you check your Update setting in your group task and update timing in your pc run in same timing ? If yes, you may disable one of them if they are always in your network. One more question Is your client update hangs ? This error usually occur if you have same schedule for update in grouptask and manually KES update. So better not update same time when group task is running or change your KES update as manual and gives the update your KES via KSC. And this also happens when an update is running and a scan task is manually sent to a group. On every workstation in the group, the Kaspersky client freezes until one of the tasks is stopped.

Do you have your local network defined there? or On the clients in options/firewall/networks there are two items: - Internet / connected / public network or temporarily create a new packet rule, allowing everything and all the protocols for all the sources and destinations. Check it and put it at the first position on the list. Wait for its arrival at the workstation and check the network functionality again, will you ? or Defined the local subnet in network as Local Network. Go to Protection Policy properties --> Firewall --> Network Packet Rule --> allow the three rules including Remote Desktop rule. For detail See the attached File. after do Inactive the Policy and the Active the Policy.
