  1. FWIW, I had the exact same problem - twice. Both times, the only fix was to completely uninstall KTS and then re-install it. Regular updates were successful afterwards. I did save my License info during the uninstall each time. Nothing else.
  2. In the US, which executable is preferred - and what is the difference between the two: kts15.0.2.361en.exe kts15.0.2.361en-us.exe I had originally upgraded to KTS from PURE using the kts15.0.1.415en.exe file (there was, and is, no kts15.0.1.415en-us.exe file). Thank you.
  3. Just looking for clarification, since both have been commonly used elsewhere in the forums. Will the next version be called "PURE 4.0" or "PURE 2015"? Thanks!
  4. Well, I submitted a Technical Support Request anyway. Not really sure why. I did the same thing for PURE 2.0 and after several "the solution is being worked on, but has been delayed" messages, that request was resolved and then just plain closed by Kaspersky - with no resolution. I then received only one response to numerous follow-up emails: "I apologize. I am not sure why the case was marked as resolved. We did a mass resolving of some old cases last week, and apparently your case got put in there mistakenly". That didn't get it reopened, though. If the A/V itself wasn't so reliable, I probably would have jumped ship years ago.....
  5. You are absolutely correct! I set my schedule to 7:00am on Saturdays, and just checked to find that it is now scheduled for Wed, Thu & Fri @ 7:00am! I actually noticed that three-day schedule when I first set it up and thought it was odd, but also thought it was just the default. I never went back and looked at it after I made the change to the schedule. Definitely a bug.

After doing a clean install of Pure 3.0, the following Firefox extensions all state they are "incompatible with Firefox 19.0": Content Blocker Kaspersky URL Advisor Safe Money Virtual Keyboard Only Anti-Banner appears to be compatible, but one would have to ask why this one extension could possibly be compatible while the others still are not? The version is 3.0.2.558 for all five.
  7. Is it possible to export one's passwords contained in Kaspersky Password Manager (PURE 2.0) in a format that can then be imported into RoboForm 7? Thank you!
  8. You clearly don't have the patch installed, as it upgrades KPM to 6.0.1.54 - which is compatible with FF16.

I have downloaded both the pure2.0_hf4 signed.exe file and the pure2.0_hf4 signed.zip file using three different browsers and followed the instructions here: http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208286429 But each time I get to the point of installing the patch, all I get is an error window stating: "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." Anybody had any success? With FF15 released, this is critical for me. Thank you.

FWIW, I have just received this official response from the Kaspersky Escalation Team, via Kaspersky Lab Support: "I have spoken with our escalation team about this issue and they have informed me that running a scan in this matter is no longer supported. As you download a file or files, they are being scanned by the program but if you feel that a file needs to be scanned again you can right-click on the file and click on Scan for virus or open the Kaspersky software and you can drop a file into the program and it’ll run a scan." Makes sense, but a bit disappointing none-the-less.
  11. I have always had KIS scan Internet downloads as soon as they complete, using this command line: "avp.exe scan /i3 /fa %1". It has worked fine for years, through quite a few version changes. Recently, perhaps after the version updated to 12.0.0.374 (abcde) - not sure, I have been having most of the scans stop themselves. They go from "running" to "pausing" to "paused" - and then never complete.   12. I added this to Settings --> Web Anti-Virus --> Settings --> Trusted URLs It worked! But doesn't this defeat the purpose of enabling the scanning of encrypted connections? It would be preferable, of course, if all encrypted connections could be scanned all of the time (no exclusions). Thank you!
  13. That is precisely what I did. I only attempted the manual install afterward, to appease Knight Captain - which proved it was installed.
  14. I already had the certificate installed, but attempted to do so manually anyway. I got this Alert message, confirming it was installed: "This certificate is already installed as a certificate authority."
