  1. @Konstantin, I already saw this article, thanks anyway. That article only shows how to configure Update Agent. Is there anyway we can schedule this task (to get update from KSC 10 server to the Update Agent) or does this occur every time KSC 10 download update to the repository? My update agent gets updated no problem, only problem is "Branch A" PCs not get updated from local Update Agent. Do I need to create an update task for PCs in the "Branchf A" group to pull from local Update Agent? if I create an update task for PCs, how can I select Update Agent as source, because I don't see anyplace to select "Update Agent" as a source. Only sources I see are 1. Admin Server 2. Kaspersky Lab server 3. From a network path
  2. KSC 10 installed in the main site. 1. Main site netwok is 192.168.0.x / 24 2. Branch office A network is 192.168.1.x / 24 3. Branch office has 5 clients. I assigned one machine from the Branch A to act as Update Agent. 4. I have a managed group created as "Branch A" with all 5 PCs, all have KES 11 installed with Agents also installed. I selected the target service group for the Update Agent as "Branch A" manage group. 5. Don't have any update task created manually either to pull packages/updates to Update Agent or to other PCs in Branch A managed group. So, I was expecting to automatically get Update Agent updated from KSC 10 server, and then Update Agent push updates to the Branch A PCs. But this is not happening.
  3. KSC10 - Update agent not updating clients in the group. help pls
  4. 1. I need my update agents get update from the KSC10 server (I already have assigned Update Agents), do I need an update task to pull repository to Update Agents from KSC10 ? or since I have assigned Update Agents, repository pull to Update Agents will be happening automatically?? 2. I need to rest of the machines to get updates from Update Agent of the particular group's Update Agent only. Do I have to create an update task for this too? I tried creating an update task, but I can't select Update Agent of the group as the source (only sources available are Kaspersky Lab servers, KSC loacl server, Network path), so no Update Agents available to select as an update source.
  5. I have a managed group called "ABC". This group has 3 PCs (A,B and C). I selected PC "A" as the update agent for the group "ABC". Now I have several question; 1. Do I need to create a pull update task to pull repository by update agent? or since we have already assign PC "A" as an update agent, does the KSC push updates to the the update agent? (in this case PC "A") 2. Do we need to create an update task to get updates from PC "A" which is an update agent to PCs "B" and "C"? or does this happen automatically since we have assign update agent and its scoe (update agent is PC "A" and the group is "ABC") 3. How to schedule pull updates to the update agent? 4. How to schedule updates to the rest of the PCs except the update agent?
  6. I am going to have 60 update agents all are pulling updates from the main KSC10 server. and under each Update Agent will be catering to a group of 5 PCs. 1. How can I schedule update pull task for Update Agents. I haven't created any update task 2. Ho can I schedule KES updates on clients under an Update Agent. I haven't created any update task

  8. That article doesn't mentioned anything about support level; example it doesn't say UPDATA AGENT supports KES xx,Kes xxx, KES xyz like that. So I assume that UPDATE AGENT keeps a copy of full update from Administration Server, Am I Correct?
  9. Hi, This is an SQL Server Database error, nothing to do with Kaspersky. You can follow the below guide, https://blog.sqlauthority.com/2014/03/14/sql-server-error-resolution-could-not-allocate-space-for-object-in-database-because-the-filegroup-is-full/
  10. I have a Kaspersky Security Center 10 (Administration Server) Installed in a central server. about 50 PCs are connected and getting updates from the KSC 10. Also I have about 50 branches outside and all those branches are connected to this KSC 10 server via VPN. Each branch has an average of 5 PCs so you are looking at 250 PCs are connecting over the VPN and getting updates from this KSC 10 server. I have Windows XP PCs and Windows 7, 10 PCs in branches. I Want to reduce the update traffic over VPN by assigning each branch an update agent. so that my outside update traffic will reduced from 250 PCs to just 50 PCs or am I wrong? Since I have XP, 7 and 10 PCs will I have to maintain 3 update agents one for XP, one for 7 and one for 10? Or are all the Windows will be updated from one update agent (no matter what the OS version of the update agent)
