  1. I have exactly the same problem while deploying KES 10.2. "Selecting a key" window shows only old, expired keys. There is no current (valid) keys. Valid key is only displayed in Application management -> Kaspersky Lab licenses. When I add again the same key (as author), it is added correctly, but does not appear on the list. How can I deploy new KES version? Where can I read about 228878 issue?
  2. I have no antivirus or firewall at all on my linux box. There is no any router that can filter connections. So I don't have to upgrade or install anything And downloading msp files still doesn't work. I also run a tcpdump (network packet analyzer) to check what and where is blocked. HTTP request is sent to update servers, but server is not responding (only for msp files). Please, IT is my passion, I'm a sysadmin (linux and windows) for over 15 years. Admin for Kaspersky corporate products since 2006. Don't treat me like a beginner.

  5. No, still the same error. Is it independent from Kaspersky installed or browser used. HTTP headers are sent to destination servers (connection is estabilished), but those servers are not responding for request. And only for *.msp files.
  6. Hi, During whole day I'm not able to download file http://dnl-01.geo.kaspersky.com/AutoPatche...h_i_kis2013.msp (tried also other dnl-XX-geo servers). I still got timeout "Connection reset by peer". I can download all other files from that directory, except *.msp files. I would prefer to split some functions in password protection settings: - stop scan and update tasks (there was only scan tasks) - both: local and group tasks - disable protection components For me these are different kind of protection. I would allow user to stop local and group tasks (without password), and disallow disabling protection components. And of course as BlueRay wrote:
  8. Hi, I had 2 workstations with KAV MP3 ( After upgrade to SC10, I'm not able to view policies (to upgrade them to MP4 or KES8/10). How can I install plugin? During install I got an error: Current version of Administration console is not supported. It is recommended to upgrade Administration console to newer version. Jacek
  9. My problems with SC10 (after upgrade from SC9): 1. all administration server tasks stopped working. I had to delete them and recreate from the beginning 2. SC backup and update task are not running on schedule (explained below) 3. SC backup task is not starting on schedule. With "run missed tasks" checked, I got a never-ending backups. One backup was starting, disconnecting me from SC, completing with error, after next connect to SC, backup task was automatically started (don't know why??), disconnected me from SC, failed with unknown error, etc. I had to manually rename klbackup.exe file to get access to console! 4. now "run missed tasks" in backup task is unchecked and task is still starting when it was not executed on schedule. 5. SC update task is configured with updates verification task. On testing computer update task and scan task are completing successfully, verification task is completing successfully, but update task on SC is completing with error "operation canceled" - I don't know why.\ 6. if on administration server update task is finished with "operation canceled", it will never run again on schedule. It makes me crazy. I'm waiting till 1st March, when I will be able to restart server, remove whole SC10, delete all files, and restore backup.
  10. I have 2 exclusions: 1. not-a-virus:RiskTool.Win32.PsExec.* 2. object: "C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\psexesvc.exe" and threat type: "RootShell". The second exclusion (adjust path for your needs) is missing in your configuration. Jacek

  12. In my SC, after upgrade from KSC9 to KSC10, administration server task (update) stopped working as well backup task. I removed both and created them from the beginning. Now update task on SC is completing successfully.
  13. I know it is old topic, but support team is still not able to resolve issue. So maybe another question - is it possible to change KAV 2013 key to KAV 2012? 2012 version was working perfectly. What worse during license renew I bought key for 2013 version, so now I'm not able to activate 2012 version Key is a 5 PC license. Support team told me it is impossible to change key, but maybe there is any solution?
