storage.conduit (storage.con...)

The above urls are constantly appearing in my IE8 History. I delete and they reapear.

1. Are they trojans/malware, if so how can I remove and why didn't KIS report?

2. If not, what is their function other than to report my net history?

3. How can I prevent them?

I am presently running a Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware full scan.

I searched forums and did not find any posts. Must be the only person who has this problem!

Scan reported no malware.

edit: disabled link.

Instructions are located in the first Important topic.

Are you saying that there is no record of these URLs and that I must go through the instructions? If so I must be unique!

I have subscribed for a number of years and an easy reply like yours is disappointing and not what I would expect.

I would appreciate someone from Kaspersky confirming that there is no record of these URLs. Not too difficult or unreasonable I would imagine.

Hi,

That definitely not a trojan or malware, its actually appearing in your URL history as a by-product of the functionality of the Conduit toolbar you downloaded. Check out...

CT2790392.ourtoolbar.com

Note the CT2790392 at the end of the URL. Uninstall the toolbar and you should be good to go!
