Widgi Toolbar by Spigot Inc

3 posts in this topic

Hi,

I have found and unchecked this Widgi Toolbar starting up in 'msconfig' . My Dell Win 7 64 bit computer often fails to fully boot up requiring shutting off and rebooting usually with success. Is this 'Toolbar' a threat to my computer? Google say it is. Doesn't Kaspersky detect this if it's a problem?

Thanks,

Xray

Welcome. It looks like typical junk ware. Uninstall it > reboot.

Kaspersky > Settings > Advanced settings > Threats and exclusions > Settings > enable all threat categories > ok>ok, then scan.

If any further issues, instructions for logs are contained in the Important topics in this forum section, and in the Virus section of this forum.
