mass storage scan at connection

Recommended Posts

I successfully installed the new version so far.

I found the feature “Device control” but I guess that is to block certain usb sticks. Where can I configure to automatically scan newly connected mass storage devices at connection? Do I have to add a new protection scope? Is it turned on by default?

You added a lot of useful features for terminal servers so therefore we would like to test this new beta on a terminal server.

Ok, I was looking at the local management console (and have not found any configuration option for that). However, the Policy on KSC server has an option under advanced -> External Devices Scan.

Hello,

In the local UI the feature can be added in the context menu for the main tree node (Kaspersky Security). The feature is called "Device Manager", I believe, and it is off by default.

I have not found the "device manager" entry but the context menu consists of the option "Configure removable drives scan settings...". Thank you.
