Also not working here on Firefox 5 on Windows 7 x64. KIS does now show 12.0.0.374 (a.b ) so it does appear to have updated.

I'm also not sure how to interpret "Attention! Hot-fix will be updated during testing period. Do not left ftp://dnl-test.kaspersky-labs.com/test/ap/." I assume this means keep this as an update source?

Ok, thanks Wizard ... so what to do? wait until the next update of the patch b ... or back to standard server and try to apply again the patch b?.

Added: I've rebooted twice after the patch, and those files are still there and are not removed ...

Regards.

After the last update of KIS2012 from beta sever 2 minutes ago, and reboot the system, now Virtual Keyboard extension is working fine (.392), but Anti-Banner & URL Advisor still in .374 (not compatible) ...

And now only 2 files "removeOnNextReboot": pxstub.ppl and sandbox.ppl

Regards.

xp-sp3.

install patch b,

reboot,

run update from GUI or cmdline,

avp.exe will crash.

I have kept updating from /test/ap and patch b was all good before 28th update .

In my system versions of .ppl files are not shown ... but I can show here the Hash MD5:

basegui.ppl : FBC93CD2E48F9373D36B6A703BE9BED0

avpgui.ppl : 5AB6D456E7E1096B3848C5AF7C26F59F

Here we go again

Ok, here it is: files updated to correct version (389 and 392), plugins in FF5 are now working, but I had to manually enable VK after starting firefox (other two enabled automatically). Version numbers for all 3 plugins are now at 389.

Could you please tell me if bug for not displaying K URL icons in Chrome and IE9 is supposed to be fixed with this patch - I can still reproduce this issue?

4. Showing thumbnails of KIS in Windows 7 taskbar - this is still not fixed. If I minimize settings window it is OK, but if any window from KIS main GUI is minimized, issue is still there:

post-12127-1309290248_thumb.jpg

I will continue testing and will post back any issues I find.

Edit: Forgot to mention Windows version, it's Win 7 x64 SP1 real machine (my test install)

Both files are .397 ... and still FF5.0 doesn't work properly, only Virtual K. works ... It seems the other 2 extensions didn't update propertly (Anti-banner & URL Advisor).

Updated, Rebooted. All is well. Great job.

Edit: Advisor seems a bit selective on when it decides to work.

UPDATED:

Well, now after uninstall completelly KIS2012 (registry cleaners and manually deletions of Kaspersky Add-ons for Firefox), and install again and changed to patch B beta server, in the end I got it! now KIS2012 Add-dons for FF5.0 are in correct versions and are compatible.

:offtopic: It seems the new clean install of KIS2012 + patch b did not detect my ThunderBird 5.0, so no Anti-Spam plugin was installed ...

Regards.
