I uninstalled Kaspersky, now firefox refuses to work. keeps saying the certificate isn't valid.

It keeps saying the certificate isn't valid, but I removed the kaspersky certificate. What should I do? And yes, I have a new security software, but it doesn't come with certificates and says the sites are safe.

As clarification: it does this on EVERY site. DNDBeyond. Youtube. Google. Deviantart. EVERYTHING.

Under normal conditions Kaspersky is installing the certificate , if not please try this :
Firefox > Options > Privacy & Security > Certificates > View Certificates > Authorities > Import
then browse to C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP19.0.0\Data\Cert\1.cert > OK > Reboot
ff_cerrificate.jpg

A second option is reinstalling FF.

No, you're misunderstanding. I *uninstalled* kaspersky and the certificate, as I was having issues with the program beforehand. Now that it and its certificate are both intentionally gone, I am trying to return to normal. Please, read.

Did you try to uninstall FF > reinstall FF > reboot without Kaspersky on your system.
Can you please specify your Kaspersky and FF versions.

Kaspersky was 2019 latest, dont remember the specific version. Firefox is latest. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF yet, I'd rather avoid that as it'd delete some of my settings. Probably.
