  4. Hello, One or two weeks ago Kaspersky chrome extension stopped(greyed out) working on my pc. Mainly I use chrome. But it appears to be greyed out in Microsoft edge too. And yesterday protected browser option stopped working on both chrome and edge browsers. I have 3 separate chrome accounts for work, personal stuff etc. It doesn't work in any of these accounts. Tried to reinstall the extension but it doesn't work. My specs are - Windows 10 21H2, Kaspersky total security(21.3.10.391). AMD 5950x, 32GB ram. I tried to rename the safeBrowser Common folder but no luck. Issue still persist. I have another pc with windows 10, Kaspersky internet security. It partially work on some browsers on that pc. Can anyone please help me to fix this issue ? I have reached out to customer support but they haven't responded to me yet. Another thing that I have noticed is, Kaspersky chrome extension doesn't appear on chrome webstore search result. I can only find it using the link provided in the Kaspersky notification center. So, I just got Kaspersky Plus, and the problem is that whenever I enter a new website in Firefox, I have to add the URL in the exclusions, because it gives me an error in the scan, and when I try to access the website without adding the exclusions, Firefox says the connection is not secure and won't let me access the site until I add to the exclusions
  6. W10 Kasperky Plus vers. 21.9.6.465 It seems like after the latest update my Kaspersky VPN won't work anymore, tried a reinstall but didnt work. Is it offline or something is broken?
  7. Good Day. I'm using the new Kaspersky Standard 21.9.6.465 (Windows 10 Home) and so far everything is working. I just noticed a strange thing. Whenever I start "My Kaspersky" on my device (an desktop) that is linked to my account, in the reports in System Audit, the indication that I am starting My Kaspersky on another device always appears, which is not true. Is this a GUI error or something else. Attached screenshot of the notice translated from Portuguese to English: "Today, 12/04/2023 10:53:14 You signed in to your My Kaspersky account from another device Protection Today, 12/04/2023 10:53:13 Google Chrome Desktop Windows Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/112.0.0.0 Safari/537.36" Thank you very much for any clarification.
  8. After my licence was expired, I purchased a new licence in March. However when I checked my Kaspersky antivirusfor updating. I was still advised that my old licence had run out and there was no mention of my renewal. So, stupidly, I purchased a new licence. My old My Karspersky is still showing renewal needed. The system does not givr me an answer and no way to contact Kaspersky for a refund or an answer?
  9. good day i found today a file called etmonitor with its dll files when i opened the task manager at startup options ,it gives me the chance to disable it at startup but why is it there ? what it does ? is it a malware or something else i did click on it for properties nothing happens...clicked on to show its file location found it on C/windows/. so i googled it some sited said its 50% malware hided on the name of etmonitor.exe and some others say not .but i found someone said 100% of antiviruses didn't detect it ...is it some sort of new malware or what ? please have a look at it cuz if it is a malware and the antivirus didn't detect it its a serious problem.

I have noticed recently that upon generating a password using the password generator, and then accepting the generated password (closing the KPM generation window), would cause in quite a few cases to show password strength as "Medium" in the website view stating the reason password should not contain commonly used combinations. However, the password strength in the KPM window (while generating) would show up as "strong". Not sure if this is a bug, but if the password is of medium strength, it should not have been generated at all. If it is indeed a strong, then should not show up as medium in the website view. I have attached the password generation rules screenshot to this post.   12. Good afternoon. I just bought Kaspersky Standard 21.9.6.465.? I'm finding it great, the installation and adaptation is being painless!? But I can't find where to enable hardware virtualization in K. Standard even though I've consulted the following article?: https://support.kaspersky.com/help/Kaspersky/Win21.9/en-US/82967.htm Does this option not exist in K. Standard, or is there another problem? I'd be grateful if anyone could enlighten me about this option that I can't find.? Many Thanks.

  14. I am using a laptop (Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7300U CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.71 GHz) with Windows 10 Pro ver 21H2, OS Build 19044.2728 running Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows ver 11.6.0.394. The license has expired and I wish to change to Home Premium plan for 1 to 3 users for one year with VPN and Password manager. I did the Eligibility check but it gives me an option to only renew the existing product/license and not to change to a different plan. Kindly advice as to how this change can be made at the earliest. Srinivasan

  16. Bin dabei meine HW Infrastruktur von KIS auf Kaspersky Standard umzustellen. Sieht alles gut aus, nice features (CClener is dead)..ABER... Frei nach dem Motto "When we knew all the answers they changed all the questions" bin ich am verzweifeln, mich in den neuen Strukturen zurechtzufinden. Kann an mir liegen aber, die Help Seiten die zu einer Frage verlinkt sind, sind eigentlich „of no help“. Sie verweisen immer auf ältere Versionen und SW Pakete die in der neuen Version völlig neu strukturiert sind und nicht passen. Aufgrund der Erfahrung, dass es auch an mir liegen kann (shame), dass ich die Seiten nicht finde, frage ich nun vorsichtig: Wo sind die Helpfiles, MenueStrukturen und Anweisungen für die neuen Kaspersky packages? Mein Zeigefinger ist vom klicken taub und ich habe noch immer nicht gefunden wie ich eine SW, die in Quarantäne bewegt wurde, wieder re-aktiviere. Ich wurde garfragt und habe "Beheben" gedrückt. Nun will ich es rückgängig machen. Mir war in KIS immer klar in wo ich hin muss wenn z.B. eine SysInternals SW, versehentlich, als „Gefahr“ in die Quarantäne verschoben wurde und ich sie wiederherstellen oder von einer Untersuchung ausnehmen will… nun finde ich diese Funktion einfach nicht. Es wäre schön wenn hier nicht nur eine Anleitung „how to restore from quarantene“ kommt sondern eher der Hinweis ...“here are the helpfiles for he new Kaspersky packages“… Danke für Hinweise

Hi, We have created a standalone package with Kaspersky Security Center 14, NetAgent_14.2.0.26967_KES_12.0.0.465 for Kaspersky End Point Security For Windows remote installation on Windows 10 but Microsoft Defender is deleting the installer.exe file after downloading, When we check the Defender logs its showing Threat as Even after bypassing or disabling the Windows Defender we get Unknown Publisher error. You can find the name and location different in above images as we are getting these errors in multiple devices. We are disabling Defender and Forcing unknown installer but the issue is we are having around 200+ devices and we can't manually disable and complete the installation on every device. Looking for a best solution. Thank You.

  19. Скачала файл из вложений в почте. Но не открывала его и сразу же удалила. Проверила антивирусом - ничего не нашло. Файл весит 1 кб, иконку прилагаю. Что это за файл и мог ли это быть вирус? Заражен ли компьютер? Спасибо большое!
  20. downloaded an attachment in a letter, but did not open the file. removed immediately. checked with antivirus - no threats found. the file weighed 1 kb, I attach the icon. could it be a virus and can the computer be infected with it? what is this file? Thank you!
  21. На предприятии выдаются флешки для защиты сети организации, а также защиты компьютеров. Хочу установить модуль, который будет идентифицировать флешки только в корпоративной сети, то есть, чтобы флешка работала только в сети корпорации, а если она вне корпоративной сети (дома), то она не работает или не отображает данные. Может быть можно сделать так, чтобы, например, когда флешка втыкается в компьютер, то в консоли управления Касперского отображалось имя компьютера и время события.

Hace unos días que no puedo entrar a aplicaciones que requieran conectar una cuenta mediante un browser, como Figma desktop, Github desktop, Whatsapp desktop, etc., pero una vez que suspendo mi protección de Karpersky todo vuelve a funcionar como antes y no me da errores de autenticación. Ya probé desactivando proxy y firewall, poniendo exclusiones de protección a sus respectivas paginas web y aplicaciones, pero sigue sin funcionar hasta que suspendo la protección por completo.

  24. Hello, Something new as appeared with the last update of Kaspersky. I had never any issue with it, I was very happy, but until recently, Kaspersky window opens up without notice on my desktop for no apparent reasons. I tried to deactivated all notifications etc, through Kasperky app and windows, but it still opens up obstructing my desktop, which is fairly annoying. it usually happens after launch like 10-15 minutes after booting the PC. The new UI/UX of Kaspersky is less clear than the one before, and I can't find that option to let Kasperky running in the background without showing up. I'm strating to think to change to another antivirus if I can't solve this issue. Does anyone have a solution to that? Thank you.
