  5. Hi, Did you set the user and password correctly on the deployment task? Wrong username and password can cause the deployment failed. One more thing, please uncheck "Use simple file sharing" in windows explorer properties. On the winxp computer, simply go to Tools --> Folder Options --> View tab, and uncheck the Use simple file sharing, click apply and OK. This would be one of the reason you cant push install network agent or anti-virus from adminkit to computer. Hope this will help. Regards, lolipok

  8. Hi, Do you have kaspersky administration kit backup ? If yes, copy the backup file to the new disk (place it same place as in old disk, example : C:\Program Files\myadminbckup), install fresh kaspersky administration kit on the new hard disk and restore the backup. All the computers that connected to the old disk will connected back to the server. If not, the only way is, install kaspersky administration kit and push install network agent to all the computers. 16. Hi, I've solve the problem already. Seems like the user have no administrative rights. But I have a question about kaspersky network agent. Here is the situation, I have 1 computer that join domain. I install kaspersky network agent using administrator domain account. After finish I relogin using normal user account (which have no administrative rights). When using klnagchk utility, the error appeared (error - code 1184). When I gave the administrative right to the user, no error occur. The network agent only running normally when login using administrator account. My question is, how can I make the network agent running smoothly without giving administrative right to the user? Regards, lolipok

  18. Hi, Both option can be use to add slave server to master server and I prefer option 2. What do you mean by "can do it from master server?". It is about adding slave server to master server or creating group on slave server? You can add slave to master as long that you copy the certificate of the slave server to the master server. You also can create a group on the slave server and drag client computer on the slave server site into the group using the master server adminkit. Regards, lolipok

  20. Hi there, I've got simple installation guide (en), hope this can help you. 21. Hi there, As far as i know, duration of license key start counting by the time you install Kaspersky. It doesn't count by the date of purchasing. However the license key will automatically start counting 3 month after purchasing date. Which means, the license will start counting whether you install kaspersky or not. That's why when you install kaspersky on a different day, the license expiry date will be different. If I'm wrong please forgive me. Peace! Regards, lolipok
  22. Hi, You can use the backup copy of the old Kaspersky Administration Kit to restore if you want to downgrade. Regards, lolipok
  23. Hi there, Try delete all the update task for workstation and create new one. Regards, lolipok
  24. Hi, As far as I know, the only way to schedule update is through update task. Task is use to set a schedule for any activity, such as update and scanning. On policy, you can set where the client will update database, and the update task you create will follow exactly like policy setting. Regards, lolipok
