  1. Hi @OpenBookmarksCo. , The data has been analyzed, it is not a false detection of Private Browsing. The Facebook is blocked because it belongs to tracking resources (you can find it under “Social networks” in Private Browsing settings). Facebook elements on third-party sources spread data, such as cookies, statistics, info on referer and many other data. The workaround in this situation would be to allow Facebook stream (if the user trusts Facebook) via Private Browsing settings → Categories and Exclusions → Social networks → unflag Facebook. Regards, Igor
  2. Hi @OpenBookmarksCo. , I reproduced on my PC, it is the Private Browsing component, that is guilty of this issue. We will further analyze this issue and as soon as it is fixed - I will give you an update. You can recommend the customer to disable Private Browsing temporarily. Regards, Igor
  3. hi @OpenBookmarksCo. , Does it help to disable Anti-banner? Private browsing? Restart browser after disabling these components and check the issue. Provide a screenshot of “how it should be” so that the full URL is visible. Regards, Igor

  9. Hi Berny, np 🙂 You can reproduce the Weak password message by creating two records with the same password. No matter how strong it is, since it is not unique, having the same password for more than one account is considered a weakness in KPM.
  10. @Berny Hi Berny, did you check the Password Check tab, what’s the reason for the “weak password” on those sites? Low strength Not unique ?
  11. Hi @riramos17 , Thank you for the incident number, checked the code, it has never been activated. Please expect a replacement code soon in the incident. Regards, Igor

  17. Hi @Lester , on the screenshot it is not fully visible, does that string on the right says “Access denied”? Can you open the folders via File Explorer (Win+E)? Did you change the settings via Settings → Scan → Full scan settings (or another scan task) → Advanced settings → Run under the rights of the following user? Try to indicate a user with administrator rights, and run the scan task again, will it change anything? Regards, Igor
  18. hi Patrick, You do not need to make noise to get the 2020 version installer and the registry hint. A simple request to technical support and explanation of why 2020 version is needed should be enough. As for the company policy, the idea is to focus more on one version and not to scatter resources over several product versions. This should help resolve more issues in one version and thus make it as close to perfection as possible. If still you face an issue, the workaround to get back to version 2020 is still there and you can get it via technical support. Regards, Igor
  19. Hi @phunction , Do you use other Kaspersky products, like Safe Kids? Run KAVRemover utility with --nodetect key: - download kavremover utility (https://support.kaspersky.com/1464). - run CMD (Windows Command Processor) by pressing Win+R, then type CMD and press Enter - drag the downloaded file kavremvr.exe to CMD window - press "Space" on the keyboard and type: --nodetect - press "Enter" - choose from the drop down menu the Kaspersky Free\Kaspersky Anti-Virus\Internet Security\Kaspersky Total Security 2021 (or another version, that you had installed) - enter the code from the picture and run the removal process - restart PC Regards, Igor
  20. Hi @mverost , Some files contain objects, which actually can be other files within archives. A corrupted object can be one that is damaged, and does not perform properly. A corrupted object, just like a corrupted file, may occur due to a defect or bug in the software used to create and manipulate the file in question. Or there can be an issue with the hard drive. What I would recommend: Open cmd as administrator, run the command "chkdsk /f /R", restart PC, disk checking will launch. Also run: sfc /scannow to scan and repair a possibly corrupt Windows system. Regards, Igor
  21. Hi Flood🐳&🐋, “Already done” means that “there is some way”, and it has been explained further in the text: “For situations when the version 2020 is needed due to issues with stability in newer version, there is a workaround: install version 2020 and make changes to registry to disable automatic upgrade to newer versions. ” You are welcome🙏 Igor
  22. Hi @Patrick O'Keefe , Already done. For situations when the version 2020 is needed due to issues with stability in newer version, there is a workaround: install version 2020 and make changes to registry to disable automatic upgrade to newer versions. Please check your PMs. Regards, Igor
  23. @D14BL0 , if you prefer to store your passwords somewhere in a file on the PC or in the cloud, it is absolutely recommended to use Kaspersky Password Manager. How Kaspersky Password Manager protects your data: read here.
