All the devices were not connected to the Administration Server for a long time

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

I need some advice from the experts in this forum.

Actually we have migrated our server which contain the Kaspersky Security Centre to the cloud in two weeks ago. After that, we realized all the device were not connected to the Administration Server and from user end, they will receive the warning 'database is out of date' message.

It seems to me the real time protection is still on but somehow the database is out of date. Anyone experienced the same situation before?

Many thanks!

Hello Ivan,

Our Kaspersky Security Centre is v10.4.343.

And from the very beginning, the server (VM) is hosted in our in-house server room, we have moved it to another VM which is in our vendor's data centre (Cloud storage) for two weeks ago.

Thank you!

Thanks for your advice.

I've tried to start the change server task once on Security Center and run the klmover utility on my desktop once.

It looks like it is some how still pointing to the original ip address like the below. (The new address should be 10.201.0.251 instead)

Hello.

Apparently not all of the migration procedures have been done. Please see here for more details: https://support.kaspersky.com/12484#block2

a) The KSC server needs to be reinstalled and restored from a pre-migration backup

b) Managed clients needed to be scheduled to re-connect to a different address for the KSC before or during the migration, depending on the exact scenario. Currently unmanaged, they need klmover run locally on each of the hosts, specifying the new address.

Thank you.
