Hello, all. For reasons that might be obvious to those following the news, I am considering moving off Kaspersky’s products — at least in the interim. Some competitors offer trial downloads (e.g. for one month), and indeed even Windows comes with some AV features. But I am aware that it is generally strongly recommended not to allow two AV applications to run simultaneously, and this advice is sometimes simplified to recommend that two AV products should not even be installed at the same time. According to an article published by c't, a German computer magazine, Kaspersky puts users at risk by means of a data leak allowing third parties to spy on users while they are surfing the web. Windows 11 won’t install because of KIS but when I update to the latest version it still does not install. Anyone able to get W11 installed?

Is it possible to use the Opera Browser with Kaspersky running, and if so what setting do I need to enable/disable to make it work? I do not have Protection for Kids downloaded(and never have), and I tried added it to exclusions and trusted applications(no idea what either do but was just trying to get it to work lol). I understand from reading a couple of the other topics that the Opera Browser is not officially supported, and that the extension does not work. My computer is running Windows 11 23H2 22631.3155 Professional (x64) and has Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (patch k) installed. After a quick scan of kaspersky, I restarted my computer but failed with a bluescreen. It said the OS ran into some problem and the error code was INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. After a forced reboot, the same bluescreen appeared again. I tried Windows boot repaire but it didn't work. I couldn't start the computer until I disabled the Early-Launch-AntiMalware on the boot option menu, which resulted in KIS not loaded. I thought the bluescreen must have something to do with KIS. Hi everybody, I installed recently KIS on my phone: Blackview BV6100, Android 9, KIS: 11.53.4.3381 I would mainly use it to lock a few apps. At the beginning it worked all right, but after a while it simply stopped, all apps can be opened even without the pin code screen popping up. Can you help with this? Thanks, farcki

So about a week ago my kaspersky internet security updates to v 21.2.16.590 but I went to control panel and I see I still have v20.0.14.1085 still installed. Same for secure connection. Is that correct or should that have uninstalled with the new version? If so, am I good to uninstall it without affecting anything?

Hi, Today, I use Delphi XE3 to develop a small test program which uses TIdHttp VCL control. After compiling the program, my Kaspersky reports the compiled EXE file as a virus HEUR:Trojan.Win32.Agent.gen . I make some more tests, and find as long as the program uses TIdHttp VCL control, the compiled EXE will always be reported as a virus. I belive this should be a false positive report. Has anyone else notice such a problem? And how to solve the problem?

Since update to the latest version, my computer is slowing down substantially. Especially when I open Outlook or open a browser (Firefox or Chrome), the power usage would jump to as very high and the CPU would be up to 60%. Kaspesky Lab Launcher "avp.exe" is using excess CPU/Memory resources causing increased fan noise. Generally the CPU would be around 30% or 40% when I did not have anything open or running. I am running Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems and I am a paid customer of Kaspersky Internet Security. Please advise how to fix this problem.

There are several news sites I wish to read but am blocked because of the ad blocker in Kaspersky Internet Security. How do I turn off the ad blocker for specific sites? As an alternative, if I cannot turn of the ad blocker for specific sites, how do I turn the ad blocker completely off? When I go to Settings and turn Protection off I no longer have the problem. However, I don’t want to search the Internet with protection off. So can I turn the ad blocker module off while not turning ALL protection off?

HP ( Home ) windows 11 ( 64bit ) .I read KIS was compatible with the 64 bit ( Windows ). I know I have to uninstall McAffe. Hello. I have 2 PCs in my house, one is mine and one mum's. She caught some kind of adware and while googling advice how to deal with it, my own Kaspersky blocked a dangerous java script. It was weird because it happened on google search page. That script came from domain "fairlotto". To be safe I added it to my router's url keyword blocker. This is where it gets weird. Somehow because of the block on all urls containing "fairlotto" neither my KIS nor Steam can update anymore until I take the word out. Steam can update itself but not any of its games. I really don’t want to see Kaspersky Shields icon everywhere I go. Isn’t there a way you can make it so that only dangerous website are shown with Red Shields. This is getting quite annoying and This can be only disabled by switching off the kaspersky Anti-banner feature. Anti-banner is a good ad blocker. Quite useful. But something should be done about these repetitive logos appearing everywhere.

I am trying got connect my EOS200D to my Windows PC via Wi-Fi. All goes well according to the instructions in the Canon Guide until I get to the screen which informs me that the pairing process is in progress and at that point nothing happens no matter what I do. The message on the screen is "EOS-F7397B pairing (connection) with the computer in progress. Start EOS Utility on the Computer" but absolutely nothing happens. The camera is visible on the PC in two places: 1. In the Network settings in the lower toolbar and 2. also in the Setting page for Wi Fi. On XP full scan started and ran to the end unless I paused it. On Win10 I can leave the computer with it running, come back, it’s gone to sleep or hibernation and scan has stopped. Sometimes even if I’m using the computer I can switch to Kaspersky to see how it’s doing and it’s stopped. Sometimes I can be looking at that screen and it restarts by itself, sometimes not and I have to click Resume. What’s going on? It’s a pain.

I received an email stating the subscription on an old order will be renewed in December. I tried to log-in to cancel the renewal as the PC it’s for is now dead (I have Kaspersky on 2 other devices, neither of which are close to renewal). KIS is totally blocking: Windows update - Microsoft Store - Dell Support - Nvidia Geforce Experience login. i can open other websites easily, KIS itself can login to my.kaspersky.com and can update database smoothly. Hi, i can't sign in my skype desktop until i exit kaspersky internet security I can sign in skype on web and and my phone I already add "Manage exclusions" to location on skype folder and still no luck When i try to add "Trusted applications" on skype.exe, kaspersky get crash for no reason For some reason, when i click "details and removes" on "skype-8.83.0.408.tmp" in Manage applications, i get "Application was moved or removed" Or maybe for some reasnon i can't find the real skype on Manage applications list
