I had KIS 2017 on my windows 10 machine,

I uninstalled it and then ran KAV remover

but I still see a command line string like the following. Even if I delete it, it reappears after a reboot:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 17.0.0\plugins-setup.exe" chrome-extension://fhoibnponjcgjgcnfacekaijdbbplhib/ --parent-window=0 < \\.\pipe\chrome.nativeMessaging.in.cbef7dee56d583bf > \\.\p

what is causing this?

B) Does KIS entry is Not longer listed in Programs and features.?

If So - Now open >>File explorer >>click on Downloads

locate KIS on the list and deleted as well

If the Windows installer and KAV-Remover left remnants: Try to

install KIS again and proceed to Uninstalled-Using a third

party Uninstaller if Succeed: Then Reinstall KIS again

I can't really troubleshoot the problem right now, as I have KIS happily reinstalled, but it occurred to me that there must be a scheduled task running at reboot that causes this behavior. Cmd.exe was looking for a non-existent file in a non-existent folder...
