Block Software-Installation

Recommended Posts

We would like to block some Software-Installations for our clients. For example iTunes or Firefox.

Is there any possibility for doing this with Kaspersky? I know its possible with McAffee, but dont know how it works with Kaspersky.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

You can also use the firewall to block all network activities of a specified application, but currently you can't prevent its installation.

In the next version of endpoint security the application module control should help you with such matters.

Is there some list or some wishlist for new endpoint security? You know, you could open a new topic on that subject...

Application control is one of the new faetures. But ther you can block already installed applications. Not to block the installation.
