  1. Hello, Please see the link below, post #6 is the relevant post. Please pay particular attention to option 5 in post #6 Post #6 It worked for me, I hope it helps.
  2. Hello, Windows 7(64bit) KIS 15.0.2.361 With a 64bit version of Firefox arround the corner (it's available for FF 38.0), would someone in the know please tell me if KIS would support it? In other words if I use a 64bit version of Firefox am I still protected by KIS. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Hello talikah, I'm not sure if it's the same thing but I had a similar problem with "num lock" in KIS 14, the work-around I discovered was to press and hold "Crtl" and then press "Num Lock". Perhaps you could try: Press and hold "Ctrl" then press "Caps Lock" if this doesn't work try: Press and hold "Alt" then press "Caps Lock" if this doesn't work try: Press and hold "Shift" then press "Caps Lock". I'm only grasping at straws but it's worth a try. I hope they help.
  4. Hi richbuff, Thank you for the quick response. Will you please post the direct download link for KIS 2015 USA, I've tried to find it but it keeps only finding the link to purchase again. Thank you.
  5. Hello, I'm currently using KIS 15 the U.K. version, but I have noticed that the USA gets program updates a lot quicker than us here in the U.K. Is it okay to use the USA version here instead of the U.K. version, I suppose what I'm trying to say is are there any region specific functions I would lose using the USA version. Are the virus definitions database updates region specific. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Regards.
  6. Hi massalama, Once again thank you for the reply. Could you please expand on your last post. I would like to know what detrimental effect it has and how it effects my browser security? simply saying it does have an effect is not really giving me the answers I need. I'm sorry about pressing home the point, but I'm trying to determine if the benefit of having the plugins disabled (ie no browser hangs) is worth the detriment to security. Any help would be appreciated.
  7. Thank you for your reply massalama, but if you re-read my post I already said I know how to disable plugins. What I wanted to know was does disabling the "Content Blocker" plugin have any detrimental effect on security (ie web browsing).
  8. Hello, Please forgive me if this has been discussed before, I have just done a quick search and couldn't find anything. I have found that occasionally (a couple of times a day) Firefox hangs for about 5 seconds and have traced it to the content blocker plugin. I know how to permanently disable the plugins (I already have "On line Banking" and "Virtual Keyboard" disabled) and was wondering what detrimental effect disabling the "Content Blocker" plugin would have on the security of my system. Is it still safe to browse if "Content Blocker" is deactivated. Any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Windows 7 (64bit) Firefox 34.05 KIS 2015 15.0.1.415 b
  9. Hello, When I manually import the Kaspersky root certificate into Firefox, I'm given three options: 1. Trust this CA to identify web sites. 2. Trust this CA to identify email users. 3. Trust this CA to identify software developers. Is it best to allow all three options, or just the "Trust this CA to identify web sites". Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Hello Picci Senior, I too was having trouble with "CCleaner real time monitoring", I found that if you turn off "real time monitoring" and just run it "on demand" it will play nicely with KIS or KAV. To turn off "real time monitoring" in CCleaner: 1. Clik on "Options". 2. Click on "Monitoring". 3 Untick "Enable Active Monitoring" I hope this helps. Regards.
  11. Hi x64, I too would not be happy with excluding "WMI Provider host" but unticking the "Enable active monitoring" option in "CCleaner" has stopped the repeat messages for it. I have reverted back to using KIS version 15.0.0.463b which is the current version in the U.K. and when using "Safe Money" now I'm only getting one "Suspicious Action was Blocked" message for "Malwarebytes Anti-exploit" and no more repeats. Regards.
  12. Hello, I have discovered what was causing the "Suspicious action was blocked" for "WMI Provider Host" repeated messages, It was the "Enable Active Monitoring" option in CCleaner.
  13. Hi x64, Have you had any response from technical support yet, I also have the exact same problem as you, but in addition I also get "Suspicious action was blocked" for "WMI Provider Host" which constantly repeatedly shows up for the life of the Safe Money session. KIS 2015 MR1 15.0.1.415 Malwarebytes Anti-Malware premium 2.0.3.1025 Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit premium 1.04.1012 Windows 7 64bit
  14. Hi Go into Settings → Performance Tick boxes "Perform Idle scan" and "Search for software that is intended to conceal traces of a malicious program in the system (rootkits)" Then as far as I'm aware an automatic rootkit scan will be run once a day.
  15. Hello rprescot, I've found this forum post Look here you might find it intersting. It's regarding KIS 2014 but I would imagine something similar would apply to KIS 2015. I hope this helps. Regards.
  16. Hello and thank you for your input Egor and CGMT, Egor: things seemed to work fine with just the (fake)Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer imported. However I did try to import KLSSL_privkey.pem under the authorities tab after the steps you mentioned but nothing seemed to happen, it did not show up in the list. Am I doing something wrong or is that expected behaviour, as I said though things seem to be working okay. Just thought I'd mention, before I did a successful manual import of (fake)Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer I tried to use the automatic 'Install Cirtificate' wizard, but It didn't seem to work. Thank you.
  17. Hello, I have just successfully manually imported the KIS security certificate into Firefox from: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP15.0.1\Data\Cert\(fake)Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer But I notice that in that directory there is another file: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP15.0.1\Data\Cert\KLSSL_privkey.pem Is that file supposed to be imported into Firefox as well, and if so how and where? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  18. Hello, I'm using KIS 15.0.1.415, for a future update would it be possible to make the 'URL advisor' compatible with the DuckDuckGo search engine in Firefox? Thank you.
  19. Hello CMA, Thank you for your reply. I read the link you provided, but I guess I must be one of the lucky ones, 'Safe Money' worked just fine first time (green border). It's good to know the USA and UK versions are the same. I appreciate your help.
  20. Hi Egor, The link you provided for the update is for the American version, I'm in the UK. I'm just about to install it, will it be okay using the American version? Is there any difference? I notice the UK version is still on the older version, so for the time being I'll use the American, would there be any reason to change back to the UK version once its out? Any help would be appreciated.
