  1. Wow!!! Regarding the closed thread that I think Mikhail Shakhov closed, about PWM update will be in release F (whereas, Pure update was in release E). My word!!!! PWM should be updated to work with the latest Firefox at the same time as PURE. My God! We are paying for both services, not just the Pure virus scan and firewall service. Almost everyone I talk to about this issue, shake their heads in dismay. You are pretty much making us not update Firefox to the latest version (which by the way would have security issues dealt with). We always have to be about 3 versions behind the current Firefox version. I am actually trying out some other programs to see if they keep up with firefox or not. I cancelled my automatic renewal membership in case I scrap Kaspersky for good. I am seriously disgusted with Kaspersky right now. Security is a big issue. There are so many ways for a hacker to get into your system; so, we need to keep up with the latest browser version. So, Kaspersky PWM needs to be up to date also.
  2. Okay, this is getting ridiculous. With every update of Firefox I have to go through the same issue. Password Manager does not work with Firefox 28. I have the latest Pure version updated. I need my passwords; so, is there a patch for this?
  3. I always have Password Manager on. If I reboot my computer, I always have to turn Password Manager back on. I used to not have to turn it on after each reboot. I think there was a setting to keep it on but I cannot find it anymore. How can I have PM start at bootup? Thanks.
  4. I updated Kaspersky Pure 3 to version 13.0.2.558©. Now the Password Manager does not start when I boot up Windows. There used to be an option to have the Manager start up when Windows boots up. Where is this setting now? Also, all my passwords say that they have expired. I tried to click on the "Password expires" text and select "Password never expires"; but, it does not take. How do I change these settings. It is very annoying. Any idea about my 2 issues? My subscription is ending soon and I am already on the fence to renew since I always have to wait a long time for Password manager to work whenever Firefox updates their versions. Patches are very slow here. Thanks.
  5. May I ask how you got password manager to work with firefox 12? When I enabled it manually, I still do not get my passwords saved while in firefox 12. I probably won't renew Kaspersky when the time comes because of this. I can't even import my saved passwords that I had before I upgraded to Win7.
  6. When I reboot my computer, I get asked for my password and it has always been this way and password manager starts. When I tried to import the .pws, I also get asked for a password but it does not like my master password for some reason. I will have to go through the settings again. Thanks.
  7. This is what I did. But, when I selected merge, it asked for my master password and when I typed it in, it said it was not the correct password. But, it was the correct password. I don't know what is going on. I guess I will check some settings and try some things, or I don't know.
  8. Um. Can we get back to my problem? "I tried a few times to import my passwords (.pws) to my Win7 machine from when I had them on my WinXP machine and I cannot. I point to where my backup file is and type in my Master password. I then get a message "Unable to access Password Manager, Please make sure Master Password is correct". It is correct. I click the eye to make sure it is correct and it is. When I start Password Manager, I used the master password that I used when I tried to import the .pws file. Is there incompatibility between WinXP and Win7 since the .pws was created on WinXP and Pure not Pure2?" I really would like to import my passwords. Thanks.
  9. I uninstalled Pure 2 and installed it again and Password Manager works now. I did not re-install the patch since when I had it installed previously and had it Password Manager Opening, it did not work in Firefox 12 anyway. The password auto fill did not work for me. It showed up in the Addons; but, I got no passwords saved. Also, I tried a few times to import my passwords (.pws) to my Win7 machine from when I had them on my WinXP machine and I cannot. I point to where my backup file is and type in my Master password. I then get a message "Unable to access Password Manager, Please make sure Master Password is correct". It is correct. I click the eye to make sure it is correct and it is. When I start Password Manager, I used the master password that I used when I tried to import the .pws file. Is there incompatibility between WinXP and Win7 since the .pws was created on WinXP and Pure not Pure2? I always seem to have a problem when things get updated; be it Kaspersky or Firefox.
  10. Hi Yes, I did follow these instructions. Is there a way to uninstall a patch and then go through the steps again? Or, should I re-install Pure 2? Thanks.
  11. Here's the link for my system Info. http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...4704d888349271e
  12. I updated Kaspersky Pure 2 with the latest patch, last night. Tonight, password manager does not start. I open Kaspersky and click on the Start Password Manager button and nothing happens. What setting did I accidentally change? Thanks.
  13. Boy, am I stupid. I made sure all settings were correct in Pure's firewall networks and then decided to reboot my laptop. Now I can see all computers in my network. WOW!!!!
  14. I recently updated to Pure from Internet Security. I did not try to access my laptop from my main computer until today and I cannot. I set my connection status in the Firewall of Pure to "Local Network" on both my computer and laptop. The "Other Networks (internet) is set to "Public network". I still cannot see the other computers on my network. I tried to change the name of the networks on each computer/laptop to be the name of my network. This does not work. Now I am not sure if this name is supposed to be the name of the computer or the network name. My computer is WinXP and my laptop is Win 7. I had them seeing each other when I was using Kaspersky Internet Security. Now I cannot get them to see each other. Before someone tells me to check out the link about the firewall settings, I already checked it out. It does not help me. Anyone have any ideas? Or, when I open Pure's firewall settings on my computer, what is the name supposed to be? Is it supposed to be the computers name or the networks name? Same with my laptop. Thanks.
  15. It worked really fast on my local C drive. I will now run it on all my hard drives. Thanks a lot richbuff.
