lol take a chill pill and for a while turn on startup scan

go to settings....left panel....move to startup objects there uncheck " at application startup " and also set File AV to Recommended if there is some change in it. Otherwise contact customer support or switch to some other security product you like ( options given to me in this forum ) lol . O.o My key is for 3 years so I guess gonna stick to it lmao.....

Zammy you don't need to spam "your story" all over the forum please. If you bothered to look at his GSI log, you would see the computer is full of Norton crap..which is causing his problems.

Sale666, you have norton leftover on your pc. Please follow the norton removal steps detailed here: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=5233

Uninstall kaspersky, if needed use the removal tool via safe mode: http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208279463

Reboot and reinstall Kaspersky, you shouldn't be having the problems after this.

2 zammy:

First of all, if you have anything to say to the moderator about his or her actions, this should be done through the PM system provided.

Second, you shouldn't tell the moderator what he/she is supposed to do. You hijack someone else's topic with your problems, remember? If you want your GSI log to be looked at, please open a separate topic for yourself...

to post it, Do I click on " URL of this report " as it seems to be stuck

http://gsi.kaspersky.fr/lire.php?hl=en&amp...amp;Microsoft=0

it says Windows Defender. well I dont belive it is the reason for delay as Ive installed it like 2 days ago and yea its fully updated too. But delay is issue like from ages. SO any other option that I cant figure out from the GSI log? I hope link that ive pasted is the right one.....

Zammy you have taken this too far... The comment was totally uncalled for.

If you would like to discuss PM the moderator... and start following basic forum rules please.

I AM NOT trying to hijack the topic at all

Your problem is quite clearly stated in the log:

Potentially Incompatible software
Installed applications [1]
=> Windows Defender   Reason: [ Defender / Company ]
Drivers run in ...
mom.exe [1]
    => Filename mpshhook.dll - 1.1.1593.0 by: Microsoft Corporation - Windows Defender   Reason: [ Windows Defender / Product name ]

If you experience trouble, you should either disable or remove Windows Defender and your problem will be solved. If this does not solve your problem, open a new topic and post an Autoruns log...

Run the GSI tool again and post us a fresh log.

Did you follow my instructions on running the Norton Removal Tool and then uninstalling/reinstalling Kaspersky?

You still have a Norton driver running.... which is strange as the removal tool should have got rid of it.

Can I ask, what exact Norton products did you have installed?

(Norton Antivirus 2007? etc)
