I've been getting this error on a couple of computers over the past week under my "Critical events":

These are from three different computers. I've tried pushing new updates but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. I would rather not have to uninstall then reinstall the software as these are all remote machines.

Hello.

To fix this issue, please to clear updates repository in KSC and then try downloading the updates again.

If that does not help, turn off the self-defense on the clients and then clear \\localhost\KLSHARE\Updates\bases folder on them, then run updates again.

Thank you.

Hi Kirill,

Have a customer that is having the same issue, running SP1 MR2. Tried clearing updates repository and re-download of updates, but still did not work.

Was unable to locate the \localhost\KLSHARE\Updates\bases folder on the local clients.

The only folder I can find similar is : C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KES10SP1\Bases

Should the above folder be cleared?

Thanks

Hi,

Please notice, that Kirill advises to delete updates from KSC by cleafing folders, no from local host!

Thank you!

Thanks Nikolay!

I did a rollback and let the automatic update task run and then it went back to having outdated databases listed as the date.

It says it completes successfully (in the normal client window, but in the logs it says it couldn't update some of the components) but then when you hover over the K icon, it reverts back to the [original] old databases date & says they're way out of date
