  1. UPDATE I didn't feel comfortable with having disable the Scanning of Encrypted Connections. Revert to the 'Encrypted connections scanning' default setting. Settings > Additional > Network > Scan encrypted connections upon request from protection components Add an exception to Encrypted Connections Scanning Click the 'Manage Exclusions' link Click the 'Add' button ('Encrypted connections scanning - Exclusions' window) Enter https://myemail.cox.net/* ('Add web address' window) Click 'Add' Press Alt + F4 to close the 'Encrypted connections scanning - Exclusions' window Press the 'Back' arrow twice Close the application KIS 2018 will no longer scan encrypted connections within Cox Web Mail.
  2. Richbuff, thank you for the prompt response. Ended up solving my issue by disabling the scanning of encrypted connections. Settings > Additional > Network > Do not scan encrypted connections Best Regards
  3. Complete uninstall of KIS 2017, installed/activated KIS 2018 without any issues. Since then, I haven't been able to access Cox Web Mail ... error message 'Connection timed out. Please try reloading the page'. I hit 'Reload' and get the same error message. - I tried to login to Cox Web Mail within Firefox, Internet Explorer & Microsoft Edge. Same error message after cleaning the Cache each time. - Get same error message after adding Cox Web Mail (https://myemail.cox.net/*) to the 'Trusted URLs' setting. - I am able to access my Cox Web Mail account if I disable KIS. - I am able to access my Cox Web Mail account by using my iPad (IOS 12) I never had this issue under previous versions of KIS. Is there a setting within KIS that needs to be changed? Best Regards NOTE Cannot upgrade to KIS 2019 as the Activation Code is for KIS 2015.
  4. My Thanks for the prompt response. I assume that at this time, there no set release date for the USA.
  5. Does anyone know why someone in the USA cannot purchase this product? Best Regards.
  6. I have 4 PC's in my household: 1 desktop, XP O/S 2 laptops, XP O/S 1 laptop, Vista O/S The three PC's with XP are protected with a 3-user KIS 7.0 license. The single PC with Vista is protected with a single KIS 6.0 license. I am about to upgrade (clean install, thus formatting the hard drive) the Vista laptop to Windows 7 Professional. I read in one of the KIS 2010 Knowledge Base articles "You cannot migrate to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 with the currently installed key file for free as the license keys of the products below are incompatible with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2010: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0" This KB article mentions keys only, can I install KIS 2010 using the activation code from KIS 6.0? If the answer is no, what will be the correct way to "switch" the license from one of the XP PC's to the Vista PC? Thanks.
  7. Is there a link or site where this is advertised (or stated)? "all the licenses for 1 PC purchased since December 2007, are now valid for 2 PCs" Thanks.
  8. Understand now ... clear and concise explanation. Thanks to you and Lucian Bara for taking the time to answer my question(s).
  9. Installation instructions by HP for this printer. In order for the printer to be usable on a network on which computers are protected by a software firewall you must do the following: a) the assignment of an static IP address to the printer. the static IP address must be outside the range of IP addresses that the network assigns to devices on the network. c) Open the configuration utility for the software firewall, and then enter the IP address that you assigned to the printer in the list of accepted IP addresses (see the documentation that came with the software firewall)
  10. Thanks for the prompt answer. I do have an additional question. Does your answer applies if the printer's static IP address ( is outside the IP address range assigned by the network ( to Thanks again.
  11. I am trying to install a HP Deskjet 6980 wireless printer. Instructions indicate that I should enter the static IP Address (already assigned) in the firewall configuration. Could someone guide as to where and how to enter the Printer IP address in KIS (OS is Windows XP)? Thanks.
  12. "Try enabling compatibility mode under settings->Service, do a reboot, and see if it works now." This also works for KIS V7.0.0.119; however, when setting compatibility mode I get a message "Compatibility mode will disable the Anti-Dialer and Protection of confidential data on services" Am I loosing too much by setting compatibility mode? Best Regards.
  13. I performed some more testing and discovered that the issue was caused by an entry in my HOSTS file (from www.mvps.org) and not by KIS. Deleted the entry and issue solved. I do want to thank you for your prompt response. Best Regards.
  14. Site http://foro.univision.com/univision/board?board.id=internet no issues entering the site (or answering posts) using KAV With KIS TR (windows XP Home) - no issues entering the site - no issues accessing the window to answer posts (via id and password) - can not answer posts (unable to enter text) Is it a matter of changing/adding a setting in KIS? Thanks.
