  1. Hi Manohar, Thanks for the GSI, Did your Kaspersky cut out at any point during your update? IE did you have a powercut? Did your internet connection go down or anything similar? Also how are you connecting to the internet ? 3G Dongle, Wifi, Ethernet ? Thanks
  2. Hi Jaya, Try the following To change the update source: Open the Kaspersky software. Click on Settings. Click on the third icon, it looks like a globe. For PURE, it will say Update at the top. Click on the Update Source... button on the right. Click + Add. Select D Drive Click OK. Click ^ Move up so the highlighted line is first, above Kaspersky Lab update servers. Click OK. Click Run Update Hope this helps
  3. Hi mundivagante Thanks for the logs. I have had a look through them and can see no major issues with Kaspersky. You have a few issues. Minimum system requirements for Skyrim are Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit) (You meet these requirements) Processor: Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent processor (You do not meet these requirements as you only have a single core AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+) 2GB System RAM (You meet these requirements) 6GB free HDD Space (You meet these requirements) Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM (You meet these requirements) DirectX compatible sound card (You meet these requirements) Internet access for Steam activation (You meet these requirements) Reccommended system requirements for Skyrim are Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit) (You meet these requirements) Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU (You do not meet these requirements) 4GB System RAM (You do not meet these requirements) 6GB free HDD space (You meet these requirements) DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher (i.e GTX550Ti); ATI Radeon 4890 or higher). (You do not meet these requirements) DirectX compatible sound card (You meet these requirements) Internet access for Steam activation (You meet these requirements) As you are probably aware running minimum system requirements does'nt neccessary mean your program will run correctly or efficiently. Thats why software developers have recommended system requirements. The fact that your processor is letting you down means that this may be the cause of your issues. In regards to Kaspersky if you have the gaming profile enabled there is not much more that can be changed to help with your issue. I would suggest only the following. -Open Kaspersky -Click Settings -Click the 1st tab (The green shield) -Then click file antivirus -Click settings -Then click the Additional tab -Under pause task click "at application startup" -Click "Select" -Click "Add" -Click Applications. -Navigate to Skyrim (or steam if you are using it) -Click OK > OK > OK I hope this helps. Many thanks KL UK Tech Support

  7. Hi HvdW As mentioned the email client you are using is not actually a supported client. Its just the protocal that is supported. Thanks
  8. Hi HvdW Thanks for your question. I understand that you are using Goldmine, this is not supported by our home user products and therefore even though it may work it may not actually function correctly or as a user would intend. KIS does monitor POP3 Ports and therfore would still give you the protection you require, try this. Open KIS > Settings > Firewall > Right Click your network on the left and select "Trusted" >Click Apply > Click the 4th tab > Click Network > Click Select > Untick port 110 and 995 > Click OK > Ok > OK Let us know if this helps Thanks
  9. Hi forest.lawn Kaspersky currently does not support Windows Live Mail with its Antispam feature. However it will protect you using its mail antivirus feature. Thanks

  11. You shouldnt encounter the error if you update to the latest version. Thanks
  12. Hi Voyager. Let me try and explain the pro’s of renewing from our online store. If you renew online >You will get your discount (which stands at 20% off RRP) >Your download will be immediate. >Kaspersky Support will have all records of your transactions. >You will be purchasing from us directly and not through unauthorised resellers. >If you lose your activation code, there will be no dispute as to ownership because you would have linked this all correctly via the online system automatically. >You have the option to auto renew to auto apply activation codes >Everything is done digitally. I>t makes the technical support process easier. >Always the latest build is available. (and is free) If you renew via a store >You have to physically go and get the product >Yes you will get a disk with your product but the product may already be a build out of date (meaning once you install you will have to update to the latest build) >There is no way of tying a boxed product to a specific person, (registration allows you to link an activation code to your email address but we find at least 60% of people don’t even register and just press next ) >Not linking your code via registration causes issues for you if you decide to lose your code. >In some cases even from retail stores your product may have already been activated and returned because it was technically incompatible. >If you have a netbook and no disk drive then your disk is useless. More points to take on board. >Retail stores can buy large bulks of product and are entitled to sell at whatever price they wish. If you keep an eye out at certain times of year the product does drop way below our online retail price (which is always the same) >We frequently partner with specific companies to offer discounted Kaspersky. Including Barclays bank. SEE HERE Remember your pay for an activation code and not a disk with the product. Anyone can download and install the product, an activation code just shows you have been nice enough to actually go and purchase the product to make sure that you get full protection. Either way wherever you purchase from you will always be able to see pros and cons. With the online store it’s all about convenience. (You pay your money and everything just works) With the retail stores it’s all about reassurance (you pay your money and get something physical for it.) I hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to PM me directly. I honestly dont mind.. Thanks
