lepphce1 Posted September 21, 2015 One of the issues that I was told Patch D would resolve is the installation of KB3000850 on Windows 8.1 / Server 2012R2. The KSC console is returning "Updates installed: 0 out of 1." and the following two entries in the Kaspersky Event Log: [Windows Update Agent] 'Installation returned an error: Microsoft Windows® failed to install the following update due to error 0x8024200d: Update for Windows Server 2012 R2 (KB3000850).'. Error code: Windows Update Agent error 8024200d ("The update handler did not install the update because it needs to be downloaded again."). Event ID: 182. Update ID: '(086110f9-6500-4ada-902d-7861cd2cd90b, 214)'. [Windows Update Agent] 'Installation returned an error: Microsoft Windows® failed to install the following update due to error ?: ?.'. Error code: Windows Update Agent error 8024200d ("The update handler did not install the update because it needs to be downloaded again."). Event ID: 182. Nikolay Arinchev Posted September 23, 2015 Hi, In that case we need some additional info to analyze the problem. Please make sure, that administaration server and network agent (and Update agent if available) have patch D installed. Please provide us with task history, administration server traces, network agent traces from affected host (and from Update agent if available) while issue reoccurs, kaspersky, system and application event logs. Also we will need WindowsUpdate.log from affected host. Thank you for cooperation! Share this post Link to post
