  1. Sorry for the oversight. Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0.0.1088(c). I updated to the latest version not long before posting, but the error has been consistent across versions.
  2. I use BackBlaze to back up my data. About a month ago, the program started reporting that the server was undergoing maintenance and couldn't carry out the back up which is the error it gives when there's a connection failure. Persistent failure like this is usually because of a firewall, so I first assumed it was Kaspersky then went into the application control settings and made sure they were all set to allow the activity which they already were. I then went into the firewall exceptions and manually added each of the twenty odd exec files that BackBlaze uses to back up the files. There was no change, so I paused protection and there was still no change. I assumed it wasn't Kaspersky and contacted BackBlaze which recommended I completely exit Kaspersky which did then allow the program to connect, but I obviously want both of these services running at the same time, as they have done for years on my computer without issue. Why is Kaspersky doing this in spite of the exceptions and application controls? How can I get it to stop blocking this traffic without exiting the program? Thank you for your time.
