  1. I can successfully uninstall it locally by going to Programs and Features and uninstalling. The question isn't whether it can be uninstalled, the question is how to automate the uninstall such that I can remove it from 100+ computers.
  2. Using Security Center 10, how can I uninstall AES Encryption Module from multiple computers? I tried creating a new task: Kaspersky Security Center 10 Administration Server > Advanced > Uninstall application Remotely > Uninstall application supported by Kaspersky Security Center 10... but AES Encryption is not a listed app.
  3. There isn’t any running task, which is why I posted this request. There is no obvious task or setting that I can find. i also don’t know what it is downloading, other than it pegs our download bandwidth and stops when I shut down the above mentioned service.
  4. Running KSC v10.5.1781 and it is saturating our download bandwidth pulling data from windowsupdate.com. The server running KSC is the one pulling from windowsupdate.com and if I shutdown the "Kaspersky Security Center 10 Administration Server" Service, the connection to windowsupdate.com immediately closes. I have checked all NetworkAgent policies and updates are disabled ( see attached ). How can I prevent KSC from downloading updates?
  5. I just upgraded to KSC v10.5.1781 and am trying to determine which version of KES I should push out to the workstations ( they are all currently running v10.2.5.3201). What is the recommended version of KES that I should use with this build of KSC?
  6. We are running KES v10 on SQLServer Express and the database has reached its size limit of 10GB. I am pretty sure the events table is consuming a large % of the space. I have had a case open with tech support since May 15 and it is still not resolved. They sent a script that would truncate the events table, but the script doesn't account for the foreign key constraints on the table and doesn't work. I've pointed this out to support, yet still no solution. I am going on over 2 weeks with no access to my Kaspersky server console, which isn't acceptable. Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix that doesn't require wiping the entire database?
  7. I had previously configured KSC to manage Windows Updates for all computers, but I want to discontinue doing that. How do I remove that functionality from KSC? Versions: KSC: 10.2.434 KES: Agent: 10.2.434
  8. I need to modify my installation of Kaspersky Security Center ( v10.2.434 ), but it can't find the installer. I have read the KB article, but I also no longer have the initial installation file. Can someone point me to the download link for KSC v10.2.434? If I go to Kaspersky Security Center 10, Downloads & Info, Additional Downloads/Previous Versions, it just displays info for the version without any download links.

  10. Running KSC v10 against SQL Server Express. The KAV database is at 10GB and is preventing logins or the security center from running. The Application Event Log is full of these: Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.TransEventsDetails'.'PK__TransEve__DF98CDDD123EB7A3' in database 'KAV' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup. Is there a sql script that I can run to delete extraneous table data to help reduce the db size?
  11. Can anyone point me in the direction to download the Kaspersky Plugin for Labtech? According to Kaspersky documentation, it should be available through these means: Kaspersky Security Plug-in for LabTech is delivered as a free plug-in, which you can unpack and install on the computer that has LabTech Control Center installed. You can download the plug-in from Kaspersky Lab web site or from LabTech Solution Center. However, it isn't available in Solution Center and I can't find the download through the Kaspersky website.   12. All KES installations are KES 10 Service Pack 1 MR 2, so no need to decrypt. Correct?
  13. Is AES module version changing in this upgrade? In other words, I have a handful of laptops deployed with full disk encryption and am wondering whether they would need to be decrypted prior to pushing out this upgrade.
  14. We are running KSC and KES all on the same versions - 10.2.434. I am considering upgrading everything to the latest: Kaspersky Security Center 10 Service Pack 2 (version 10.3.407.0): build with integrated patch A I've read the related documents and it seems pretty straight-forward: update KSC and then push out the updated agents/clients. Is it that straight-forward? I remember reading previous version upgraded required the removal of Kaspersky encryption before upgrading, but am not seeing that requirement for this version? thanks in advance!
  15. Given that the updates are pulling 4Mbps until they are finished when they should be ( according to your post ) averaging 512kbps, I am pretty certain it isn't working.
  16. What is the difference between an Administration server and KSC? Aren't they the same?
