  1. That works, but it doesn't seem to work for my Windows 10 laptop with KES. It connects, but doesn't show up on the Devices tab anymore. Also, it's not listed under "Show marked for deletion".
  2. Sorry, had the reply page open for a while and didn't see your new post. That works, after completely removing it it now connects instantly. Thanks!
  3. I don't think it's limited to the Android. I also removed my laptop with KES a few days ago and reinstalled it today. It doesn't show up under devices. It does seem to connect to the server, but because show up under devices I can't assign a user. klnagchk log: Starting utility 'klnagchk'...Checking command line options...OKInitializing basic libraries...OKCurrent computer is 'WORKGROUP\LAPTOP-MICHEL'Network Agent version is '10.3.428'Reading the settings...OKSettings verification...OKNetwork Agent settings: Administration Server address: 's023.cloud.kaspersky.com/cdae08a5-9753-4eba-8b57-0371bbdea9e8' Use SSL connection: 1 Compress traffic: 1 Numbers of the Administration Server SSL ports: '13000' Numbers of the Administration Server ports: '14000' Use proxy server: 0 Administration Server certificate: available Open UDP port: 1 Numbers of UDP ports: '15000' Synchronization interval (min): 15 Connection timeout (sec): 30 Send/receive timeout (sec): 180 Host ID: b1331fb7-a6fb-4ccd-81cf-8a7b20f52374Attempt to connect to the Administration Server...OKAttempt to connect to the Network Agent...OKNetwork Agent is runningReceiving the Network Agent statistical data...OK Network Agent statistical data: Total number of synchronization requests: 2 The number of successful synchronization requests: 2 Total number of synchronizations: 1 The number of successful synchronizations: 1 Date/time of the last request for synchronization:11-7-2016 14:10:54 GMT (11-7-2016 16:10:54)Deinitializing basic libraries...OK
  4. In this topic I posted about problems deleting the device from my account completely. Now I wanted to re-install the client on that device so I sent a new invitation and installed the app from the Play Store using the link e-mailed, but I wont connect to the server anymore. The device doesn't show up on the 'Devices' tab, but when I go to the user and see the device that was still there (refer to the other topic for that issue), it shows it connected right after installing. I saw that in the app as well, it was connected for a little while. But now can't connect anymore. I see in my firewall logging that its connecting.
  5. Where exactly do I find this? My Devices section is empty as you can see on the screenshot I posted above.
  6. I've deleted a device from the 'Devices' tab, in this case an Android device, after that I uninstalled the software on the phone to see what happens. Device is gone from 'Devices': When I open the properties of the user that had the device assigned: I can also still open the device and see its properties, but I can't find a way to complete remove it from the portal.
  7. When I press the button 'Removes managed MDM device profile', I get a pop-up with 'Save' or 'Cancel', both the other text is written in Cyrillic. Also, I would say 'Remove' rather than 'Removes' on that button.
  8. What I was trying to say is that it's not clear what the problem is when you try to add mike@test1.com when there's already a mike@test2.com for example. The username just turns red, but it would be better if there was a warning saying 'username mike already exists'.
  9. This is not necessarily a Kaspersky issue, but maybe it's good to think about this and give some kind of warning up front. After you've downloaded and installed KES on a Windows 10 machine, there is no license key assigned yet. That happens when you assign a client to a user, which is fine. But Windows reponds by default with the following warning. You don't have any other option really than to press one of the 2 buttons, which is unwanted if you're deploying this to a user who has no clue what to do. I don't know if there's a way for you to fix this because it's Windows behaviour, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. The on-premise installation of KES doesn't have this problem because the key can be built-in the installation package.
  10. Correct, that works. But say you have about 50 users in there and one is named Mike and you try to add another Mike, it's not very clear what's wrong because it doesn't give a warning like 'Username Mike already exists' or something.
  11. Yes I could use the 'Do not show' button, that works. But that little flag is still red, and I assume it's still red because of critical events, right? If that's the case, than the color of that flag has no use anymore. Minor issues, but I thought I'd report them anyway.
  12. A few critical events occured right after I installed the client on a Windows PC and Android phone. This is normal because right after installation it doesn't have modules enabled or a license installed, it takes a little while. After I've fixed these things, I cannot get rid of the critical events. So I still have the red flag in the top right. And this entry under 'Monitoring' It would be nice if I could acknowledge of accept these events so they don't show up as critical anymore. Also, when I view the list of events, there's an odd blue button with '1' in the bottom right corner that doesn't really do anything. It looks like it would refresh the page or something and links to 'https://s023.cloud.kaspersky.com:8080/#' Refer to the first screenshot.
  13. You're right, there's a difference I see. Chrome 52 - 15 seconds IE11 - 5 seconds Edge - 5 seconds Firefox 44 - 5 seconds
  14. Added a Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 6.0.1. KES app is running fine, but within the portal the 'Locate' function does nothing. It says 'Sent', but nothing happens. The device is turned on and has a working data connection. Other options like locking/unlocking and alarm do work. I've restarted the phone as well. Doesn't help. 15. The built-in auto refresh when you have the device page open is pretty annoying. It happens every 5 seconds and takes about a second to complete. Auto refresh isn't bad I guess, but this is too frequent. Do 30 or 60 seconds and add a manual refresh button.
  16. Scenario 1: Pass - No problems Scenario 2: Pass - No problems Scenario 3: Usernames are created based on whatever the users e-mail address is, so user@test.com and user@test.nl both end up with the same username. This isn't possible, and a warning is being shown saying 'Correct user email adresses and aliases' and the alias shows up as red. It doesn't really say what's wrong. I'd recommended making it more obvious what the problem is. Scenario 4: Pass - No problems Scenario 5: Pass - No problems Scenario 6: Pass - No problems The ones below are minor things, if important at all, assuming you've just updated the interface and were still working in an older version when creating the document. Some things are layed out different. Company overview is different Configure button in policies is called 'Settings...' Operating system selection menu in policy is on the left side, not right
  17. I guess this is the best way to go so we're gonna give it a try. Thanks!
  18. Don't know if I'm in the right forum, and you might call me stupid but I have no idea where to find the following option. I just want all the posts displayed on a page, not just a list of links to individual posts. This changed a few months ago and it's starting to annoy me.
  19. No doubt, but which permission setting would that be?
  20. Are there permissions that I can apply to a KSC user to prevent them from moving objects from one group to another but keep permissions for, for example, editing policies. If these permissions are part of a role, I'd be interested as well. KSC 10.3.407
  21. I've asked this question before, for example in this topic: https://forum.kaspersky.com/lofiversion/ind...hp/t276603.html But I never really got this right. So here's the question again, hopefully it's clear what my purpose is. I currently have 1 KSC in our network. All clients connect to this server, which works fine. Now, a bunch of these clients regularly leave the network and work from a remote site (no VPN). Some for a day, others for a few months. I want to be able to control (read: push policies to) these clients as well, through the KSC. Whenever a server needs to accept connections from the Internet, it's placed in our DMZ. I could place the entire KSC in the DMZ, but for security reasons I'd rather not have all clients connect from the internal network to the DMZ. I could also use the connection gateway, but when I do that I also end up with every client connecting to it, whether they're internal or outside the network. Please advise on how to handle this situation. Or others users, how are you currently handling this?
  22. Yeah just through Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall. But mind you, this was when the problem already occured. It's kind of a problem to go back 3 weeks with the changes in clients and policies in the meanwhile, and I can't just do this with 350+ active clients. Isn't there any other way we can try to fix this? I'm willing to try experimental stuff too if that's what it takes.
