  1. I downloaded and started usiing Kaspersky Anti-Virus for my home computer because I had had a strange memory issue trying to install and run a game program. But things got worse instead of better and instead of having a simple error I was getting the Blue Screen of Death. What is worse is the fact that the BSOD would happen at random times. I tried several things to fix the problem. Then I noticed that the crash happened at ramdom times and was not dependent on any program that was running. I also noticed that I never got the Blue Screen of Death on my computer and it wasn't until I installed Kaspersky did I start getting this error. I also noticed that one of the suggestions in the Microsoft Help Window that came up after I recovered from the crash was that I should disable all anti-virus programs prior to doing any updates (making updates was one of the suggestions). One of the programs that ran constantly regardless of what I was doing was a sort of Kaspersky internet communication checking program that was in the little system tray (that area in the bottom right of the screen). When I disabled this functionality, I stopped getting the periodic BSOD crash. That is, so far, so good. So I am wondering if others have had this complaint and if there is some sort of update I should know about or other issue.
