  1. Hello everybody, Original poster here... I uninstalled/reinstalled .NET Framework, and that did the trick!! No more basegui error.
  2. Okay, I now have 11.5 GB free. I restarted my computer after freeing up the space (why not?), but I'm still getting the same error message. What should I do next? Thanks again!! Fred
  3. When I click on "My Computer", I see 2.64GB free. Is that not enough?
  4. Hello, I get this error message in a popup box twice an hour, along with a Kaspersky PDM DNS query warning (I tried to resolve this warning in this thread - http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showt...p;#entry1586728 , but it was never resolved). I believe this new error (the RUNDLL/ basegui error) occurred around the time I downloaded dvdvideosoft's youtube to mp3 converter a few days ago, but that could be a coincidence. Also, I was unable to run a system restore. Anyway, here is a link to the get system info report: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...e3e8c90acb34ece Let me know if any more info is needed. Thanks!!!! Fred
  5. Ugh!!! It's still happening. I'd like to remove the offending item, if at all possible. Any recommendations as to how to proceed ? Thanks again for all the help so far!!! Fred
  6. Okay, here is the Malwarebytes log: mbam_log_2011_06_24__01_34_33_.txt
  7. Yes, I am still getting the same alerts at the same intervals (38 and 55 minutes after the hour) Here is the gsi report link: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...4cad10794872928 Virus info file to follow shortly...
  8. Okay, I've just updated to the current version. I'm still getting the regular alerts. What should I do next?
  9. Sorry about the delayed response. I am running version 9.0.0.736 . Also, I ran the GetSystemInfo tool. Here is a link to the report: http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...8ac78a036057bdc Let me know if you need any more info. Thanks!!! Fred
  10. Hello, I'm still getting regular alerts about a PDM.DNS Query -- every hour at 38 and 55 minutes after the hour. I posted a picture of the alert here: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?s=&am...t&p=1587328 I get the alerts even when there are no windows open --- just the desktop. Is there any way to find the source of this problem and delete it? I don't want to just disable the alerts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Fred
  11. I was hoping to stop the query from happening in the first place, as opposed to just disabling the warning message. Is this possible? I don't know if something has been installed on my computer, or if the queries are being generated through a firefox window. Please help if you can. Thanks again!!! Fred
  12. Here we go. Also, I noticed that the alert happens twice every hour -- 38 and 55 minutes after the hour -- always.
  13. Will this do? I copied and pasted the last instance of this from the "Detailed report": 2/1/2011 1:55:01 PM Detected: PDM.DNS Query HTTP:\FUNNYBEESSHOW.COM\SDJFH.PHP?DSFGSF=479869671123938 Action selected by user SDJFH.PHP?DSFGSF=479869671123938
