Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium

I'm using Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (version 22631.2506) with Kaspersky Total Security Premium (version 21.15.8.493). Despite having enabled both notification sounds and on-screen notifications for all critical events in settings - I get nothing. I downloaded a few malware samples to test, they were all detected, but the only way I would know is if I glanced at Kasperky's tray icon which turned red. But there was no sound nor any notification of a malicious object being present on my PC. For obvious reasons, I'd like these notifications. Windows Defender has an early launch module that allows it to start pretty much before the OS does - but with Kaspersky I’ve noticed it takes 1 or 2 seconds after I reach the desktop for the app to show up in the tray. Is that just the app starting late, or the protection modules as well? Do Kaspersky protection modules start early like Defender’s? If the modules start with the app then that’s… not great. Isn’t that a security risk? Malware could start before the AV, disabling its self-defense.

Hi, I'm a Web developer and use a local server nginx on port 80 and 443. From this week (20.11.2023 because before 3 years works), when I visit any local website using a browser (FF, Edge or Chrome) Kaspersky standard (KAV.21.15.8.493) crashed!!! I tried to change webserver port like 8080 but without solution. I sended many times the dmp error file but after a week nothing it's changes. Solution or any suggestions? Thank you

Hi, since the abysmal customer service in Brazil was too stupid to even understand my question and closed my ticket right away, after copying and pasting standard text without relevance, let me try here: I have a problem with the duplicate removal feature. It presents me a long list of duplicates, but the files are not identical, not even the file names. Maybe Kaspersky does not compare the files sufficiently. I will annex a screenshot of one such case: And since I have little time and can't go through that long list one by one, I had to turn the feature off.

Using Kaspersky Premium 21.15.8.493 (for now until I switch to Endpoint) and Windows 11 Pro 23H2 22631.2715. On the Home page, I've noticed that it alternates between two statuses at the top. Normally it says "Main protection components are running": But then changes into "Automatic threat detection": Does this mean anything? My friend who has the same Kaspersky Premium version using my subscription, never sees the second status, only the first, and we've had it for the same amount of time.

I have Kaspersky Standard, is it possible for me to renew my subscription thats about to run out for just 1 device? its currently for 3 devices which i dont need at the moment. There has to be a cheaper version than the 71$ renewal price. Currently there's an offer to get 3 devices for 21$ but its for a new subscription, i mean, everyone is just better off creating a new account and subscription and paying 51 less dollars right?

Hello, I need some help. I cannot access local applications when i switch on SPLIT TUNNELING for Kaspersky VPN I have turned on Split tunneling, selected apps that should connect via vpn and those that should not. After i turn on VPN button, but still, all local applications are inaccessible. Proxy settings for the browser i need to not use vpn are set to automatic. Anything am doing wrong?

I am having an issue with Kaspersky Plus ver: 21.15.8.493 throwing up artifacts in and then crashing ZBrushCoreMini. The suggested route to a resolve by Maxon is to whitelist the application, but I am unable to locate a place in Kaspersky Plus to do such a thing and all resources I have found are for products other than Kaspersky Plus and not applicable with the version. How do I resolve this?

...is for one thing that this Kaspersky "Premium" would reduce the amount of braindead prompts to a minimum. Especially after I have already selected to "ignore" a wifi network password. Or a website password. Or whether I keep some particular application up-to-date or not. For one thing all of this is I guess OK if you are marketing your product to children. But at least learn to fix your application so that it understands what "ignore" means. It should not be necessary to answer the same question multiple times when simply once should be sufficient. Or maybe you have not figured it out yet how your application can save user-provided answers in the Windows registry?

I am really considering removing and stopping this security program. It is far too difficult for a person who simply uses a computer for home use. Why would I have to be subjected to auto install of a parental control? Why can't this be an opt in thing? I have been trying now for 2 hours to figure out how to delete this from my Mac. Wasted over half my morning. I am not familiar with the terminology. I have yet to see anything that says 'parental' anything. I have looked on my mac settings, chrome settings and safari settings. Help - My account - I have my computer, my phone and table - does that count as three devices under one account, then my daughter has her three devices, and my son has his three devices - he is a gamer too (all under their own email addresses) and then my husband has his three devices? is it also necessary to have it installed on the phones?
