Cannot Update AV Database and cannot use VPN

Hello, I cannot update my AV database. I'm from Myanmar and I'm trying the premium trial to see whether its' AV and VPN works properly. I tried with both my home wifi and my data hotspot. It always stopped at 8%. I have attached screeshots. the vpn is also not working, stuck at introduction page. 😞 Operating system: Windows10 V22H2 (OS Build 19045.5854)- 21 replies

Hello, I need to enable real-time protection, but I can not see that option on the Kaspersky Desktop App, and I also can not enable it on Windows Defender because Kaspersky is set as the main anti-malware app. I need help.

Reclamação Urgente - Falha Grave do Kaspersky Premium, Perda de Arquivos, Suporte Inexistente e Solicitação de Reembolso e Restauração de Dados Escrevo esta reclamação formal para expressar minha profunda insatisfação e prejuízo decorrentes da aquisição e subsequente falha do software Kaspersky Premium, adquirido em 19 de abril de 2025. A compra deste produto foi motivada pela necessidade de proteger meu notebook, website, arquivos pessoais e corporativos contra ameaças digitais. Contudo, o resultado foi desastroso, culminando na perda total dos meus arquivos e na completa ineficácia do suporte técnico oferecido. Suporte este que foi pago e parte integrante do produto adquirido. Após a instalação do Kaspersky Premium, meu sistema apresentou chegou a ficar inoperante, para minha surpresa, não foram detectados ou neutralizados pelo antivírus. Diante da persistência do problema e convencido de que a forma mais segura em realizar o backup geral de todos os arquivos através da ferramenta deste software, realizei o backup utilizando a ferramenta integrada do Kaspersky Premium em um drive externo. Subsequentemente, fui forçado a formatar meu notebook, na esperança de eliminar as ameaças que o software da Kaspersky falhou em identificar e remover. A falha mais crítica e inaceitável ocorreu ao tentar restaurar meus arquivos a partir do backup realizado com a ferramenta do Kaspersky Premium. Para minha consternação, a restauração não funcionava e não houve absolutamente nenhuma ação desta empresa para restaurar os arquivos que estão completamente inacessíveis. Esta situação demonstra uma falha grave e inaceitável na funcionalidade de backup e restauração do software, que era uma das principais razões para a aquisição do produto. Durante os mais de sete dias subsequentes, tentei incessantemente obter suporte técnico da Kaspersky. Foram diversas tentativas de contato através do chat online, e-mails enviados e inúmeras ligações para os números de telefone disponibilizados no site oficial – todos sem sucesso. Os números de telefone se mostraram inoperantes, e o suporte remoto (que também paguei para tê-los), que dependia de um contato telefônico prévio, tornou-se inacessível. A completa ausência de retorno por parte da equipe de suporte é inaceitável e agrava ainda mais os prejuízos causados pela falha do software. Diante do exposto, fica evidente a falha grave do software Kaspersky Premium em cumprir seu propósito fundamental de proteção e segurança de dados. A perda total dos meus arquivos, tanto pessoais quanto corporativos, e a inacessibilidade do suporte técnico representam um prejuízo incalculável e uma quebra de confiança na marca Kaspersky. Portanto, com base no Código de Defesa do Consumidor e nos meus direitos como adquirente de um produto que se mostrou defeituoso e causador de danos, solicito formalmente: O reembolso integral do valor pago pela licença do Kaspersky Premium, tendo em vista a completa inutilidade do software e os danos causados. A imediata restauração dos meus arquivos criptografados. Considero que a falha na ferramenta de backup e restauração, um componente essencial do software, torna a Kaspersky responsável pela recuperação dos meus dados. Exijo que a empresa tome todas as medidas técnicas necessárias para reverter a criptografia e devolver meus arquivos em seu estado original. Aguardarei um posicionamento formal e uma solução para este grave problema com a máxima urgência. Caso não obtenha uma resposta satisfatória e a devida reparação dos danos, incluindo a restauração dos meus arquivos, tomarei as medidas legais cabíveis para garantir meus direitos. Hi , I am planning to purchase a Kaspersky premium key in India as my current License is ending soon in less than 35 days. I am planning to move to Australia in some 1 - 2 months and I was wondering if I purchase 1 Kaspersky premium license ,get it activate it in India and then move to Australia, Will my VPN and other services active because I've read here that Kaspersky VPN services are being suspended in India and some other countries. Does Kaspersky Premium work alongside second opinion scanners that don't have real-time antivirus? Eset, Emsisoft and Norton all have different signatures than Kaspersky, and they are decent enough to identify PUPs that Kaspersky sometimes misses. I'm mainly interested in scanning my work-related assets with them for adware and PUP detection, but I'm worried that they might interfere with Kaspersky's main components or something. So do they conflict with Kaspersky Premium or not? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The programmes I'd like to use alongside K if there are no conflicts. Eset online scanner. (No real time protection) Emsisoft emergency kit. (No real time protection and no need to install) Norton Power Eraser. (No real time protection and no need to install) I'm using windows 11 version 24H2 and Kaspersky premium version 21.20.8.505.

I recently reset my PC and started installing the usual stuff that I need for work. Daz Studio (very popular 3D rendering app) and Ren'Py (arguably the most popular visual novel-making engine) and Kaspersky added both these applications into the high-restricted group (intrusion prevention). I'm aware that you can manually add applications to the trusted group and make it work, but the thing I don't understand is these two programmes were previously trusted by KSN, and K added them as trusted just a few weeks ago. So how can I make a complaint to KSN? Kaspersky premium 21.20.8.505 version Thank you. -

Поставила на Ubuntu, функционал обрезан сильно, насколько я поняла. Непонятно почему в веб-антивирусе "по умолчанию" выключена проверка на "AdWare". Утилита проверки целостности вообще не запускается. Хотя, файл есть. В личном кабинете устройство с лицензией не отображается вообще. Написала в тех.поддержку. Пока думают. Внешне интерфейс графический очень неудобный. Текст серенький на белом и мелкий. С лупой надо смотреть. -

Hi, Me and my friends are getting kaspersky premium 10 devices subscription, but I wanted to ask about a few things: 1- is the vpn unlimited for each of these 10 devices? 2- can the subscriber account see when the other devices are connected to the vpn? Can they monitor other devices' traffic or data usage? 3- can the subscriber account see when someone is running a scan and can they see the pathes of the files being scanned? As you can see I'm worried about the overall privacy, so if anyone could clarify this I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Когда нажимаешь по файлам правой клавишей мыши срезается правый верхний угол контекстного меню и часть текста. Написал в службу поддержи Microsoft там ответили что баг вызывает какая та программа. Когда удаляешь антивирус баг пропадает и появляется после установки. Кто-нибудь сталкивался с такой проблемой, надеюсь скоро исправят. а то глазам больно смотреть. How to change ownership of Kapersky Premium?

I recently bought from a store here in Malaysia and the store assistant helped me installed Kapersky into my rig. Apparently the store assistant entered the wrong email address and I don't have any accessibility to that account because I didn't set it up. I would like to use my proper email address. Unfortunately the subscription is linked to the wrong email address. Is there a way to work around this problem? Or do I have to cancel the purchase > ask for refund > and reinstall with new activation code? If cannot, then please help me resolve this issue. Thanks- 1 reply

Hello all! Again Kaspersky causes vexation and frustration. NOW the system is telling me that I am using the VPN... on "too many" devices! Yet my Premium sub is valid for 5 devices and I am only using it on 4, including the device where the silly error is popping up. Thus this message is BS. See screenshot - the message is in Dutch. I have used K. since February 2024 and renewed Feb. this year, which did not go smoothly at all, on the contrary. I have already sent a request for email support. Hopefully staff responds. Seriously I am so sick and tired of these errors, I never paid some hundred euros to report lame software. Rant over (but continues in the background).

Hardware Virtualization says something's interfering or whatever. I turned off core isolation and every other program running, turned svm mode on and it still showed it couldn't work. It was working fine before I did a fresh Windows 11 install. Not sure what's blocking it. (Have reinstalled twice) -

Kaspersky Reklam Engelleyicinin ayarlarından açılması gereken tüm filtreleri açtım diğer ayarlarını yaptım ama çoğu sitede asla çalışmıyor. Herhalde filtre listesi 10 yıldır güncellenmiyor. Örnek olarak Youtube'daki hiçbir reklamı engellemiyor, eğer hiçbirşeyi engellemeyecekse niye var bu eklenti/ayar.

K green icon not showing in subheading urls, but showing on main url. This happens to all sites that have subheadings. This issue has persisted for a month maybe more. The last time this happened it was fixed with a database update but not this time. Any ideas ? Acione o suporte” Só consigo dar sequência quando deixo o kaspersky em pausa por 1 minuto que é o suficiente para dar sequência e com um ctrl + F5 a pagina carrega normalmente. Alguém sabe se marquei algum campo onde bloqueia esse tipo de site? Exemplos: https://downdetector.com.br/ Com a ferramenta do kaspersky para gravação de problemas fiz uma gravação, só não sei se já posso anexá-la aqui.

Tengo activa la licencia de Kaspersky PREMIUM, pero dentro de la interfaz del Antivirus al dar click en el botón "Instalar" en Kaspersky VPN se abre una ventana que dice "buscando una versión mas reciente de la aplicación", 30 segundos después se abre una ventana que dice "no se puede establecer conexión con el origen de instalación de aplicación." Ya reinicié el PC y los controladores están actualizados y no puedo instalar la VPN. Espero que puedan ayudarme. Gracias.
