HEUR.Exploit.Script.Generic - can't disinfect

Recommended Posts

Kaspersky has just found this and says it can't disinfect the detected object.  It gives the options of Skip or Delete archive.

It's located in Appdata\Mozilla\ ... (full path in attached JPG.  sorry the file is there twice - I can;t remove the duplicate)

I've uninstalled Mozilla but this path is still there.

I cleared my Chrome cache (advised in another post) and it is still there.

Can I get rid of it by deleting the Mozilla files in AppData?

Welcome. Yes. Did you look in Firefox\Profiles\default\cache2\entries\ ?

You can delete those. Any better after that?

Thank you. I deleted the whole Mozilla directory in LocalApps.  A full scan has now shown no problems.
