How to wipe Events table?

Recommended Posts

We are running KES v10 on SQLServer Express and the database has reached its size limit of 10GB.  I am pretty sure the events table is consuming a large % of the space.

I have had a case open with tech support since May 15 and it is still not resolved.  They sent a script that would truncate the events table, but the script doesn't account for the foreign key constraints on the table and doesn't work.  I've pointed this out to support, yet still no solution.

I am going on over 2 weeks with no access to my Kaspersky server console, which isn't acceptable.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix that doesn't require wiping the entire database?

You should update you KSC to the actual version. Use Kaspersky Lab Backup Utility and make backup of the current KSC installation, then delete KSC, install actual version and restore KSC from backup. After that if you still don’t have an access to the KSC console try to run the script that was provided via the incident again. But we recommend to wait for an answer for the incident, as our specialists are working on it.

Thank you!
