Is it possible to get new logs?

Thanks!

Hi,

I actually tried when I saw that the directories where empty.

Let me try again.

Does it matter whether I provide /L*V to msiexec?

It should not matter, because these logs are written anyway.

Thanks!

Hi,

I tried, but once again empty folders.

A base.cab (I think) file briefly showed up in one of the klnagent-2017-06-13-15-xx-xx directories while msiexec was still running, it did not stay around, though.

Advice?

Thank you

In this case please start the installation with th eparameters L and V.

Hello!

Could you please tell us, what user starts the installation?

Thanks!

It is a local user that is member of the administrators group.

I run msiexec from cmd.exe, cmd.exe is elevated (UAC is completely disabled, actually).

Hi,

I can install 10.4.343 just fine if I remove 10.3.407 via msiexec or the cleaner.exe.

Ideally, one would be able to just update from 10.3.407 to 10.4.343 without uninstalling 10.3.407 first.

We have a few customers that are only reachable via network agent, and for those customers uninstalling 10.3.407 first would not be possible, because if I uninstall 10.3.407, how am I supposed to install 10.4.343 via the network agent if there is no network agent?

Thank you

Hello.

From the initial error message, it appears that a different regional version of Network Agent is installed on the hosts that you are trying to update to 10.4.343.

Unfortunately, only the version in the same language can be upgraded directly. Otherwise, it needs to be removed first.

Thank you.

Hi,

I downloaded KSC from the link you provided and extracted the netagent.

MD5 (Kaspersky Network Agent.msi) = 9fc0aff04d0e2268f655cde0b1cc1660

I tried to install it, but still no go. See attached msiexec log. No logs in %WINDIR%\temp this time.

Regarding your remark about the language - both agents are from English KSC's, only the test VM is in French.

Thank you

Is the existing Agent currently running on the host?

Please provide a klnagchk output from it, and also a GSI report.

Thank you.
