I had this issue before with KAV. In the past when I had KAV installed I was not able to ping ipv6 adresses.

The fix for me at that moment was to disable KLWFP driver because I was not using KIS features...

Anyway two years further I decided to hop from KAV to KIS and I'm just facing the same problems...

When KIS is installed I can not ping any IPv6 address?

The only way to get it work is to remove KIS completely from my system.

I contacted support about this but four weeks later we are getting nowhere...

The question is.. While icmp is the first thing you do when you have some network issues .. Why is it blocked by KIS?

I mean IPV6 is preferred protocol when configured and enabled on the network.

Am I the only one with this issue?

i have the same problem, still hasn't been fix.

however, i have came up with temp fix, follow these steps,

1: create New Text Document.

2: Open the Text Document.

3: copy and past following command.

Pause

Ipconfig /release

Pause

Ipconfig /renew

4: Save As... name text file, IPv6rest.bat [ make sure it's *.bat Batch file]

6: close file.

7: left click the file... it should open Command Prompt and ask you to press any key. [press enter ] the action 1st will release new DNS, and ask you to press any key again, [press enter] the action will renew DNS.

your browser should work.

What did tech support say when you followed up with them?

Ok, well carry on. This issue is not forum solvable as only KL knows the time frame for when the fix will be made available.
