Kaspersky Anti Virus Update Not Working/Running

Good day! Am just a newbie and need help resolving the Update service issue on my KAV.

 

Problem: Kaspersky Anti Virus Update Not Working/Running

Actions Taken:

- Reinstall KAV (6.0.3.837) then Reboot PC (Windows XP).

- First attempt to click Update, it works.

- Prompted to perform full scan then Reboot PC

- Second attempt to click Update, it is not working anymore. Start button can be clicked but nothing happens, it is not connecting to Kasperksy Lab server (online) to download the updates thus Start button will be visible again.

The update is not your problem. Your client is infected. Please clean your PC first.
