Syncing with clients

I am finding that many of my clients are unable to sync with my server. In addition I am unable to perform various tasks on the client machines from the server. What could prevent a client from properly communicating with the Admin server?

Hi Chieftonw.

Can tell me your server and workstation OS? And the kaspersky version. Is it the latest?

If your workstation is WinXP SP2, you need to open port UDP 15000.


Start --> Control Panel --> Windows Firewall --> Exception Tab --> Add port --> key in name and port ;

example :-

name : kaspersky

port : 15000

and select UDP and press OK.
