  1. Hmm. When I go to https://center.kaspersky.com, I get taken to https://my.kaspersky.com/dashboard#/ This is not going very well for me. :-)
  2. Thanks. But if activation doesn't succeed when my current license expires (and I don't see how it will succeed since I'm not able to input the new license), that means I'll have no KAV protection. So I'll just need to input the new license. I can contact Technical support then. Very curious.
  3. Okay. In the past, if I purchased a yearly license when I still had, say, 20 days on the current license, the 365 days would be added to the 20 days (equaling 385 days). In fact, the Kaspersky receipt says "Your license will be extended within the next 24 hours." That did not happen, so I guess we'll have to wait until nearly the last day to manually delete the old license and add the new one. If I recall correctly (??), there used to be a place within the KAV app to add a second license without deleting the current license. It's not as convenient to do it manually on the last day; just wondering why the new yearly license was not added within the KAV app.
  4. Thanks. Yes, I did log in to my My Kaspersky account, but didn't see anything apparently to do with the license. Thanks for the link; will try that!

  6. Hi. I renewed my Kaspersky AV license, and received an email that said: "Your license will be extended within the next 24 hours." It's been a couple of days since the renewal purchase, and the original license is counting down (from 25 days to 23 now), but no additional time or extension has been added. I tried to switch within KAV to the new license number, but then it dropped my 23 days, so I re-entered the old license number. Thoughts?
  7. Our KAV license will expire in about 50 days. In the past, we'd get an email inviting us to renew. Will that happen again, or do we need to do it through My Kaspersky? (I looked in My Kaspersky and it seems the prices have gone up — is that correct?)
  8. I suspect ziggy12345 possibly means "migration" and "the activation code is for another product". Just FYI, I was trying to upgrade to KAV 15.0.1.415 the other day. I had uninstalled the earlier version, but did not notice that I had actually downloaded Kaspersky Internet Security until, during the installation, KIS detected that my Activation Code was for Kaspersky Anti-Virus, gave me the option (as I recall it) of either upgrading or going with KAV, and when I chose KAV, it completed the KAV installation seamlessly. Very elegantly done. ziggy12345, I'm thinking that, if you keep getting caught in an "uninstall Norton" loop, I'd just uninstall that before installing whichever KAV. Although it sounds like you may have another issue, if it won't run on your computer. At any rate, this is where I eventually downloaded KAV 15.x: http://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/anti-virus
  9. ADDED: It's working great now. I uninstalled KAV 2013 (plus using KAVremover and cleaning the registry), then installed KAV 2014. No problems with Word docs now. Thanks!
