  1. Patience is a virtue! After a month of the dreaded error messages on 3 laptops in this household.we're now error free.
  2. It's all been sorted out now with some help from the technical boffins.
  3. Thanks again, Berny. I think I've finally managed to sort it all out - at least for Total Security and the included Password Manager. Now I just need to fix Secure Connection which seems to work differently i.e. I can't share my 5 device licence with my husband. I've emailed technical support and explained that I want the licence transferred to my husband's new My Kasperky account rather than assigned to my account.

I'll have a go at creating a second My Kaspersky account and try to transfer my husband devices and Kaspersky applications to that and keep my original My Kaspersky account for my devices and applications. I'm assuming this will all work when we're sharing the same 5 device licenses.

  6. So does my 5 devices license for Total Security not allow my husband and I to both use Password Manager? Or should we each have a separate My Kaspersky account? If so, how do we link the 5 device license to 2 separate accounts? Signing in to websites and online accounts is easier, faster and more secure – with no need to remember every password. All your family’s passwords are securely stored – ready for access from computer, tablet, phone or your family’s free My Kaspersky accounts.
  7. Oops (senior moment!). They are 2 separate licences. I thought Secure Connection came as part of Total Security but it seems not.
  8. My husband has been using KPM for a while now and, as we have a 5 device licence (through Kaspersky Total Security), I decided today to install it on my laptop. However, it seems to want to share all his password information with me and if I add mine then he'll have them. Now I'm not totally against that but I thought we would each have a separate vault. The 5 device KTS license is under my name and I manage the My Kaspersky application. Can anyone tell me if there is a way for us to have separate vaults.
  9. As far as I know the license for Secure Connection came as part of my purchase of Total Security. If that is the case, does anyone know why the information on My Kaspersky shows the remaining days for KSC as 308 and KTS as 463. The days remaining for KTS is correct.

  11. Many thanks to gringopig for the heads up. I had been tearing my hair out for 3 days trying to find the cause of my husband's email client (Outlook) refusing to download his emails from Virgin Media. As gringopig advised, I added the exclusion (in this case imap.virginmedia.com) to his Network Settings in Kaspersky Total security and his emails flooded in once again. Thanks again.
  12. I'm currently running Kaspersky Internet Security on a 1 year multi device licence (3 Windows, 2 Androids) but it is due for renewal in 13 days. Today I purchased another 1 year multi device licence but this time chose Kaspersky Total Security. My questions are: 1. Do I need to uninstall KIS before installing KTS? 2. Will I lose the 13 remaining days on my KIS licence? 3. Will KTS work on both Windows and Android? 4. Where is the best place to download the software from for both Windows and Android devices?
