  1. This topic comes up in the FAQs https://support.kaspersky.co.uk/general/installerrors/11682
  2. I have W10 1809 64 bit and CCleaner 5.53 installed on both my computers yesterday without any trouble and run today OK.
  3. Thanks both, I will try Bill's suggestion first before I get involved with Tech Support and see how I get on.
  4. For a few years now I have had trouble with Safe Money in that when I click pay on a website and the Verified by Visa dialogue box should pop up, the Safe Money box opens first to ask whether to allow or not the protected browser, this is interpreted by Visa as some sort of attempt to obtain information, and it informs my credit card company who suspends the card. Within a half hour their fraud department rings me about it, and I have to have a new card. This happens several times a year and I am now past annoyance with this, so wish to uninstall Safe Money. I cannot find any uninstall for it only a 'Disable'' button in settings. Does anyone know if this will totally shut down Safe Money please.
  5. Please see this from the Malwarebytes forum; Please refer to the known Issue #1 in the below link for an explanation of the problem with Kaspersky. We have analyzed it and are currently working on an MBAE version to work around the Kaspersky changes. (Current MBAE Known Issues - Current Conflicts with Third-Party Applications Kaspersky recently released an update which re-introduces an old bug of theirs which causes *ANY* product that hooks NtProtectVirtualMemory to crash certain applications like browsers, etc. Kaspersky silently blocks any product that uses NtProtectVirtualMemory and causes a crash, without any warning from the Kaspersky product. We are updating MBAE to work around this Kaspersky bug.)
  6. I also cannot use Firefox 50.0.2 until MBAE is shut down. malwarebytes forum states something changed with Kaspersky to cause this clash. Surprisingly Waterfox runs OK.
  7. I have KIS 17 but did not uninstall it before doing the AU update and all went smoothly on both computers.
  8. If I click on the Secunia icon for OpenVPN, it goes to this page; https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html
