  1. I read an article about it 10 minutes ago on a Brazilian site.
  2. As always, every magazine says what it's paid for. Where on this planet Norton has the best suite for removal threads ?
  3. I agree. But since this vulnerability was found in April, I can see the quality control from MS continues the same. I'll stick with FireFox.
  4. It was just released yesterday and Secunia finds the first vulnerability. http://secunia.com/advisories/22477
  5. A genuine English text here now:D http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,127542-c...rs/article.html
  6. Hi oda200. Welcome board. Note that there isn´t a noob question. Please see this thread here: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=19236

  8. LOL. Tony, I don't think Don is married, but since now I know he has a lot of Angeline Jolie pictures, I can understand why he started jogging.

  10. Maybe this translation can help. http://www.online-translator.com/url/tran_...39&psubmit2.y=7
  11. Try to uninstall KIS and before reinstall it, see if the problem still exists. Then reinstall KIS and let's see how you go.
  12. You said you're trialing KIS 6.0.0.303. Did you install this version over the 6.0.0.299 ? I'm asking you, because the error you posted is related with build 299 (faulting module oeas.dll, version 6.0.0.299, fault address 0x0001bb20). Have you tried to uninstall KIS completely, and reinstall it ?
  13. Hi davidpr. No dates until now. But it will be released soon. Keep in touch with the forum. That´s the best way to find out.
  14. Are you using official release or beta version ? Anyway, first of all you have to uninstall KAV from your computer and if you want to try the official release you can find it here: http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates?chapter=186437046 If you want to test a beta version and help us to find some new bugs, you can find the latest beta build here: ftp://kav2006:Fynb02dbhec60@data.kaspersky.ru/ Please note that beta keys only works for beta products. If you KAV license is from an official release, it can't be applied to trial KIS. You have to try KIS with a 30 days license, and after that you have to decide if you will upgrade to KIS or get back to KAV.
  15. Of course, buddy. I hope others people starting to know that too. I could put the interview that Eugene Kaspersky gave to the magazine, but it in Brazilian Portuguese. Don, I think you should starting practice it, because summer is arriving and you going to open that office in Rio, don't you ?
  16. Here are 4 screenshots of a Brazilian magazine, I'm a subscriber. This month, the magazine give some advices how to protect yourself against virus, spam, malware, etc. They used a infected PC with 100 kind of virus, malware, trojan, etc. They tested 2 free solutions and 2 sharewares solutions: In the 1 SS, they tested a free version of Avast. In 13 seconds, Avast detected 90 from those 100 files. In the 2 SS, they tested a free versions of AVG and ETrust EZ. They didn't informed how much time AVG took to detected those files, but it only detected 42 of them. ETrust EZ detected 32 in less than 20 seconds and 11 in the end of scanning which delayed 8 minutes and 49 seconds, with a total of 43 from 100 files. In the 3 SS, they tested a version of Windows Live One Care. Like Avast, it detected 90 from 100 files, in a total of 61 minutes, since this version only performs a full scan. In the 4 SS, they tested KAV. The man who wrote the article starts saying Kaspersky is an antivirus of respect. In 15 seconds, KAV detected ALL of those files. He talks about the Proactive Defense and how it works too,(blocking some suspicious files, before they are known yet). Just keep the excellent job, KL Team.
  17. And KIS has a good feature that I like most. KIS can scan a zipped file, only passing the mouse over the file. Of course, already copied by some AV companies.
  18. Come Don. To tell you the truth, I'm drinking some tea right now, because I'm at work. Maybe later, I can fix it.
  19. LOL. Come on Lucian. It was a Smirnoff you were drinking. @ Don. Some people must drinking a lot of coffee to handle a lot of questions here. Lucian prefers, like me of course, another kind of drink, yellow and iced. And I agree. He drinks only during weekends, after all today is saturday, right ?
