  1. After installing Kaspersky on about 60 machines, at least 4 or 5 are freezing at the same time of day. Here are the symptoms of the freeze: -The mouse can still be moved but clicks don't respond. - The hard drive light is flashing - non of the keys work including ctrl + alt +del - When the caps key is pressed, the CAPS light changes - The network card at the back of the machines is flashing - cant ping the machine I have changed the policy and non of the machines accepted the policy (appending). At roughly the time the clients crashed, the event appeared: Event name Modified Severity: Info Application: Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows Version number: 8.1.0.646 Task name: Update Computer: TBH00340 Group: Clients Time: 20 April 2012 11:02:01 Name of virtual Server: All our client PC's are windows 7, some laptops and some desktops. They are HP machines and have been purchased in the last 6-12 months months so fairly high spec. Any ideas why this is happening and more importantly how we can stop this happening again? Thanks
  2. I have 2 policy's. A network policy (Enabled firewall unchecked with a padlock) and a off network policy (Enabled firewall checked a padlock). Both have the pad lock next to them pressed in. Is this what you mean?
  3. Thanks for the swift reply. Can you expand on the computers got updated? do you mean windows updates or kaspersky updates, or something else?
  4. During the installation of the Kaspersky, it disables all the windows firewall for all except the domain. I have remedied this by creating an offline policy in Kaspersky which enables the Kaspersky firewall when out of the office (ie not connected to the office network). The problem now is that users in the office now see a notification showing that the firewall is disabled even though it’s enabled in all scenarios. It’s just that private/public show as disabled when the clients are connected to the office LAN. I’ve looked into the notifications and you can disable the whole notification but i dont want to do that. http://blogs.technet.com/b/networking/arch...ion-center.aspx
