  1. You will need to have your activation code handy, ideally. Reinstalling won't invalidate your license.

Actually, in the case of a laptop (especially if it is an older one), I'd recommend grabbing a can of compressed air from your local computer supplies shop and using that to unclog the heatsink/fans. Works a lot better if you can take the bottom cover off so you can get full access to the fans/heatsink, but also helps if you're just shooting compressed air through the vents. There are lots of online guide on how to do this, if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself then this service should be offered by any pc repair shop.
  3. Hi... Answering your question 'Can running Kaspersky melt/explode my CPU ?' Answer would be no 70-80c is a perfectly normal temperature for a cpu operating under load. If you're unhappy with the temps, I'd suggest cleaning out the fans/heatsink surrounding your cpu of dust to improve airflow, and/or investing in a better heatsink.

  5. Hi, If you only have one code, then the license is for 3 simultaneous installations of Kaspersky. That means the 3rd installation/activation starts counting from the same day as the first. As long as you only have it installed on the correct number of machines you're good to go.

  8. Hello, Just for avoidance of any doubt- Please do not post any personally identifiable information, activation codes, email addresses, contact details here. This is a public forum and your posts are viewable by anyone who has an internet connection. Technical support gave you the correct reply. Bar checking that your activation code is for KAV and not KIS- Please follow their link and contact your local country/area partner for assistance.
  9. I'd also ask around on the talk talk forums- http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/ They've got customer service reps there that are a lot more responsive than your standard tech support, and lots of useful community info so perhaps there is some information about your issue there.
  10. If you receive a suspicious email, which asks you to click on a link or open an attachment, then the best course of action is to delete it.

Unfortunately, activation issues are usually not resolvable on the forum so you must contact support.
